  • i didn't like the rest of the album that much, but this one is a killer...

  • the T-Birds version is still the champ...Jimmie Vaughan kills on that cut.

  • @talpajam I'm so happy that someone else agrees! Jimmie Vaughan is insane! I love him haha

  • This combo didn't sound good when I first heard about them collaborating, but T-Bone knew what he was doing. They blend beautifully. They've created something fresh and interesting. Robert Plant's vocals are still bang on and Alison couldn't sing a wrong note if she tried. Fantastic!

  • great song!

  • money? honey? money? honey?

  • 1.15 jimmy page

  • Cool song

  • @atlantesmr Alternatively you can support the artist buy purchases the Album 'Raising Sand' from all good record shops and online; Amazon, Play, Itunes etc.

  • Soooooooo Sexy! What a combination of talent!

  • What can I say? Krauss and Plant are the perfect duo. Just goes to show you never, ever know what's gonna be good. Sexy...perfect.

  • I can't get enough of this song.

  • man, Plant is so unbearably hot.

  • LOVE THIS

  • I love what you have done to this music

  • This reminds me of some of the most sensual act that can be permitted on a dance floor or on a stage. It just reeks of emotion.

  • Isn't this song in a movie or tv show? I know it is, & it's going to drive me crazy until I figured out where I've heard it!

  • @stephred83 Mad Money

  • @stephred83 its from Mad Money

  • Isn't this song in a movie or tv show? I know it is, & it's going to drive me crazy until I figured out where I've heard it!

  • Bring strong things to your table. Like your ideas this is about as sugar boy tellin he will roll with it.

  • Really love it! :)

  • sounds easy but is actually not that easy to play and capture the feeling..

  • Alison's voice is so smooth. The rythm is so mellow !

  • So Cool !!!!

  • this song is the sexiest thing, I ever heard

  • Maroon 5!?

    Hahahaaaa! Please!

  • Maroon 5 is garbage

  • You're Fx&*_!>) right about that! it's not Pop. It's classic rock and deserved 5 F*&%#ing Grammies!!

  • @korstemplar If I could give you 100 thumbs up, I would. If you count the grammy they got the year before for 'Gone, Gone, Gone,' this album took 6 grammys :)

  • @m5freak007 BITCH PLZ, maroon 5 is a step down from justin bieber

  • Ya did a great job with this vid, peanutsavage!

  • what kind of effect do they use on the guitar in this song?...love it

  • love this song hahaha :D

  • Great song, reminds me artists like Willie Dixon,Muddy Watters and Robert Johnson.

    New version of old blues.5/5

  • An unexpected duo, and rather cool song, too. Shows Robert Plant as a versatile artist as he gets older. He can't always just scream "baby, baby, baby" as he approaches his geriatric era.

  • Sure he can, on a reunion tour with Zeppelin.

  • The best his voice has sounded in years

  • anything plant would attempted with Jimmy Page, JPJ and Bonzo turned to gold... his best move joining up with them by far

  • PIGd3- I agree completely. If someone 'sells' out or 'buys' in, it is to become established in the mainstream. I could buy the selling out argument for Zepplin.. except the name. It was a joke amongst them all that the group would fail like a Lead Balloon; and Bluegrass has come along way, but It is far from mainstream.

  • mad money! haha

  • Hey, Peanutsavage: No apologies necessary! Ease up on yourself, eh? Not everyone (incl. myself) even knows HOW to download/upload a music video. Clearly, you chose music from 2 extremely talented ARTISTS. That alone speaks volumes of your taste. All I can say is: Thank You.

  • Hahahahaha, Plant is a sellout? Comeon. I could see if he released an album with duets with people like Rob Thomas or Christiana Aguilara. He released a Bluegrass album! Hahahahaha, selling out means you go for what is going to sell, like cookie cutter pop rock. Its not his fault he did something that people dig. He did what he wanted and it just happened to be good.

  • Excellent work here. Bravo!

  • sweet song by the way.

  • whoever is saying robert plant is a sellout: shut the fuck up. the guy is talented. stop hating, you should only be so lucky.

  • did somebody sell out? NO ! not in the music industry..it could never happen..Even after the artist sign a contract..No way...No self respecting creative artist would dare sign a record deal..that would be blatant selling out for sure..It would never happen..

  • Of course it could happen, Trubboll. The fact is, in this case, however, it didn't happen.

  • Oh come on..Of course he is..He signed a record deal didn't ' he? I am a humongous fan of Plant. But in all real aspects of his situation. He sold out way back with Zeppelin as did any other artist willing to make a buck while doing what they love to do. After all giving sex away makes you a slut, Selling sex makes you a whore...you do the math.

  • Plant has a keen interest in roots music. I think he signed the record deal because he wanted to make great music, not mainly because of the money. The same thing with Zeppelin. I could be wrong, but I think in this case Robert Plant is not a sellout. You should be careful what you accuse him of, since you don't know it for a fact.

  • Theres a lot of sense to what you are saying....

  • @Trubboll signing a record deal definitely doesn't mean selling out. back in the day, getting a record deal was pretty much the only way to get your music heard. if led zeppelin were 'selling out', why did they never release a single?

  • @vjvallance you fail so badly. Yes Zeppelin has released singles any signed band that doesn't release a single has a very tough time getting air play. And believe it or not, signing a record deal is absolutely and completely 'Selling Out." there is nothing else it could be. To sign a record deal is about The Money and hopes of being placed upon a pedestal for all the world to gaze upon you and your creation. It's just the nature of the beast. Live with it.

  • @Trubboll I fail so badly? Here's an interview with robert plant from 1975 on the old grey whistle test where he explains A) why he is in the music business and B) why they don't release singles and the led zeppelin discography where i think you will find there is a distinct absence of singles. check your facts before you go accusing others of being wrong.

  • @Trubboll also, to avoid confusion, Whole Lotta Love was released by Atlantic records against their wishes in 1969, and since then, various releases have been made but none were comissioned or approved by led zeppelin themselves

  • @vjvallance I do check the facts,

    en.wikipedia (dot) org/wiki/Led_Zeppelin_discography

but yet you have cemented more proof of selling out. you used such terms as "Against their wishes" and "none were commissioned or approved by" any artist that has no control of their music has sold out.. Stop stressing out, selling out doesn't make them any less a musician nor another musician who chooses that route.

  • love this song!! since I´ve seen Mad Money !!

  • cool song

  • like this

  • No doubt about it; Alison has the honey!

  • like this sogin

  • Brilliant! First good thing Plant has done since "Coda". No idea how anyone other than a sad boy teenager could call this kind of experimentation a sell out.

  • Great song. Really great video:) Loved it, favourited it.;)

  • here's an idea:

maybe Robert Plant's not a sellout.

  • hypnotic..this thing is playing in my head from a week...

  • yep....this is Led Zep...which is NOT a bad thing ...!

  • ilove mad money ;D

  • Can anybody simply stay away from those dumb-ass selling out comments and just enjoy the dam song/video?

  • hypnotic!!!!!

  • can anyone hear the mystical sounds of zep old?

  • This is a great combination. Awesome song, awesome album!

  • this is album is fucking good...

  • plant is a rock god

  • Comment removed

  • you are an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • dont get me wrong i love zep, but you might be retarded. Plant has shown that above and beyond being a rock legend, he has both range and versatility in his voice.

  • wtf?

Doing this is the antithesis of selling out. It would be a saner argument to say that going back to zep would be selling out (but I'd still love to see it).

I absolutely respect Plant for having the courage and the audacity to go in completely different directions with his music. He'd have limited opportunity to do that with Page and Jones --- witness the lack of commercial success (by Zep standards) for "Walking Into Clarksdale".

  • if you listen closelly, this song captures the mystic sounds of zep.tell me you dont remember zep for just whole lotta love and rockn roll..........

  • No it isn't, reforming Zeppelin would be selling out. Their drummer died, and he was irreplaceable.

"The disappointment that could be there once you commit to that and the comparisons to something that was basically fired by youth and a different kind of exhuberance to now, it's very hard to go back and meet that head on and do it justice."

Plant is still playing with Krauss because he ENJOYS playing with her. He made a CD with Jimmy Page because he ENJOYS playing with him.

  • How is this selling out? Like the others already have stated, it would be more like selling out if he went back to Led zeppelin.

  • robert plant is AWESOME!!!

  • originally recorded in 1955...it's a cover...the Fabulous Thunderbirds did it as well...crazy!

  • what song did robert plant cover it from

  • I smell Zeppelin here

  • That's because Robert Plant was the lead singer of Led Zeppelin. :

  • I'm gonna caulk the wagon on this hurr mississippi... cause fording in these here waters jus ain't an option, baby. Let the wind carry us to the moon. We'll... well gaze up thur, and baby it'll be alllllll good. Cause that moon, that moon be a boon for this hurr corn. We all know corn is a staple, like Staples, except they only sell staples (no officeware to start industrialized commerce).

In conclusion: caulk the wagon; never ford.

  • OMG! That groove is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet!

  • Agree

  • It is oh soooo sweet . I saw them at bonnaroo last year, wish he would have played more Zeppelin though ;-)

  • this is a great album, kinda like pshycodelic folk,

  • this is a great song, i can just about swear i heard it in a movie i just recently watched, anyone have any idea what movie i;m talking about i cant remember what it was.

  • Mad Money Queen Latefa Katie Holmes and i dont remeber the other woman but this song is frfom the soundtrack from Mad Money

  • Diane Keaton

  • it look as though rob has a little crush on her ,,he kisses her on the cheek when ever he wants.

  • They deserved the grammy. =)

  • what the fuck is wrong with youtube???!!!! it keeps skipping..so annoying!!!!! is it just my damn connection??

  • no youtube just sucks what happend to the good old days u clicked on a video and it was already loaded

  • lovin' it!Great song! : )

  • Music for the intellectual.

  • so true.

  • It sounds great, good arrangement, I love Robert Plant (and the rest of Zep..)....Krauss sounds sweet....any ways....the lyrics? well....nothing special...it is just the way it is put together..... I love the guitar sounds from minute 2.......

  • nice too see something like this win big at the grammys :)

  • agree xD

  • I love this song !!! congrats on the grammy!!

  • anybody knows were i can get the song with the lyrics ??? :D

  • google

  • Google it, fool.

  • i met robert plant like 3 years ago in portland. we talked 4 like 10 minutes until this freak came over and scared robert plant away. it was soooo cool!

  • not bad...very different. i like it...i'm a fan of robert plant, so i'll give him kudos for 'experimenting' with alison krauss. :D i'll join the grammy debate by saying i can't can't agree that coldplay would have deserved a grammy. normally, i love them but appartently their latest almbum has them nominated for plagarasim. shrug*

this was a great indie effort. nothing wrong with that. :)

  • this songs awesome !!! :D

  • well i was over reacting when i said that but it was at the moment you know in fact i listen the album and found 3 or 4 great tunes it was more like had other expectations before the grammys thanks aniway

  • i have to get this album the best album from youtube i have heard for years better than any album from last year

  • the whole album is beautiful, this song starts it off in a good mood in my opinion, they are a fantastic collaboration. Why does everyone yell at eachother over youtube? And there is no way in hell that Ne-yo could beat out this cd. Coldplay on the other hand is definitely competition, Viva la Vida is a fantastic album, and Lil wayne is just fucking awesome. But not album of the year worthy. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss created a different sound that definitely stands out from the rest.

  • I agree with you 100%!!! I love the other artists mentioned. This song is awesome!!! The collaboration is perfect!! Just want to add that I'm an africian american female and I listen to all genres of music and music is universial and it touches the heart of us!!!

  • Beautiful style of beat,and tone!Peace

  • great song!! i personally think its a great song to chill with if u know what i mean

  • not their greatest but Don't let this one song fool, this is probably one of the best colabs ever...Plant and Krauss are absolutely mind blowing..there are however a couple songs i did not like personally...check their other work...its intense

  • thanks! =) *hums*

  • Plant still sounds the same on recording as he used to.

  • yeeeees :D really nice

  • soooooo nice!!!

  • this whole album is really good.

  • absolutely GREAT

    Thanks

  • these 2 sing great together

  • He's old, she's cute, and they're total opposites. I like it! Great song.

  • great song ;)

  • The doctor recognized Robert Plant in the emergency room -- Plant had fallen asleep -- the doctor went over to check to see if he was still alive -- this is an exact recording of what he heard through his stethoscope.

  • coldplay sucks!!! GO SATRIANI!!!!!

  • Good song , destined to be a classic !

  • How do you not know who they are!?!? This is Robert Plant the lead singer from Led Zeppelin!!!

  • This song is hot!!!!! I don't care that I don't know who the fuck they are!!!!

  • this song was in mad money!

  • i'm not a country fan, and i know it's overlooked... but i HAVE heard better country than this. how the heck did they win POP with this song?

  • Becuz you are not a fan how the fuck do you expect to understand but I guess thats why the awards were not left up to you

  • First of all, you NEED to relax. there was no need for all that. I was merely stating an observation.

  • The Peoples choice awards are for the popular listening public to vote. The Grammys consist of 12,000 people active in music recording and performing arts who vote. Once again the Academy is showing us that earthy, roots music is what they are favoring these days. Last year wasn't much different. I think this album is brilliant even if you never heard it on mainstream radio. But thats kinda the point.

  • what the f...., never heard this song b4 n wins grammy?

  • Comment removed

  • At least a rapper didn't win!

  • plenty of rappers won...

    in the R & B category...

    wtf
