go do some easy songs first.. Ive bin on guitar lessons from my 12th till my 14th and I started playing songs like: jingle bells and stuf.. what is really easy if you only do the melodie.. but now I play songs like Tears In heaven and Pirates Of The Carribean theme.. ill go and post some vids soon or later though x)

anyways start with the easy songs first.. you'll fingers get better...

I think is sounds better if you palm mute before playing open. For example (PM = Palm mute O = Open)

hmm.....okay buddy uh I have a question....I'm like 14 in about 2 weeks(woohoo me!)and uh...well i thought that might matter cause like how far my fingers stretch? and so yeah I don't really play guitar eithr but i like to learn these little songs too. btw nice vid but uh. when you play. on the E string it looks like you lift you finger off of it every other strum. do you? or do you just keep it there?

You don't actually play the E string at all this song. Only the A and the D (you try and mute the others). But as you play those you kind of pop on and off of the strings so that you make the chords sound a bit choppy. Kind of like a quick muting.
