I hear ya - but I'm a food fanatic mum... My daughter has anaphylactic allergies to ALL nuts (even in "may contrain traces of" products), egg (cooked AND raw), and type2 allergies to dairy and soy, and is coeliac. If I'm NOT one of those fanatic mums, my daughter dies. Sometimes you just gotta appreciate that there may be reasons why mums are a little fanatical about things like this *smiles*
