People who are more knowledgeable than I can split hairs about whether he has enough feeling or passion or technique. I think the fact that anyone can achieve this level of mastery is astonishing. Beautiful music played by someone with exceptional skill. Bravo!
@omoteshuto He knows what he is talking about because he plays flamenco very well, but in fact here I don't understand why he says that, because I hear a lot of feeling in this interpretation...
@lahuidi82 Expresing a feeling needs technique, imagine shakespear not having a good vocabulary. I found the better my technique, the less i think about it and the more i can let my feelings flow. Flamenco is full of players that can only bang their guitars and people say that's passion, when someone (Gerardo nuñez is a prime example) seems to be technically superb he is immediately accused of not showing feelings. This is a great interpretation of Paco's great granadina.
It doesn't have a particularly name, it's a 'Granaina' from 'El Vivo desde El Teatro Real' but there are few falsetas form 'Generalife bajo la luna' from the album called 'Fantasia Flamenca' by Paco de Lucia
