  • I had; Vader's TIE Fighter, X-Wing, Y-Wing, Luke's Land Speeder, Snow Speeder, AT-AT, AT-ST (Scout Walker), Star Destroyer Play set, Speeder Bike, Tauntaun, Wampa, and Dagobagh Play Set. + 95 Action Figs. My Brother had; TIE Fighter, X-Wing, Y-Wing, Millennium Falcon, Speeder Bike, Troop Transport, Hoth Battle Command Center, Hoth Laser Tower w/ Prob Droid, Tauntaun, Slave 1 + 95 Figs. Including the hard to find Jawa. Man our Mom LOVED us.

  • Why would they go right into a negative!? It's the Millenium Falcon, you have to put it together, though ... sorry ... but don't worry, you'll outgrow it in a few years and then get into GI Joe before growing to old for toys. Then your mother will give them all to your poor maid to take to her kids - and 20 years later, you'll kick yourself that you didn't save it because now it's probably worth thousands ... It's the Millenium Falcon!

  • i have the falcon. It's awesome! and made in mexico!

  • I loved my TIE fighter when I was a kid. We were too poor to afford the Falcon though. :(

  • That music is amazing, why has no one worked a score like that into a sci-fi epic?

  • i had the falcon i loved it and i still have it

  • He didn't hit an asteroid! He hit Uranus!

  • We used to play with toy models of the ships. Nowadays, its right hand on the mouse, and left hand on WSAD. I still can't decide which is better...

  • Use to have one of those, my mother sold it for $0.50 in a yard sale :(

  • Why is it that every star wars action figure vehicle ever made makes that ratcheting sound in one way or another.

  • I used to have that Millenium Falcon. Was the best toy I ever had as a kid. Think I got it in 1980.

  • AWSOME!

  • Like it would have killed them to include an action figure with the Falcon. C'mon, Kenner, the kid's parents already dropped some serious coin to get that toy and you don't want to include a Han Solo figure or Chewbacca?

  • the TIE fighter and the Y -Wing i think were THE best designed toys from the Star Wars set......the Snowspeeder and AT-AT would be my pick from the Empie set of toys.

  • Did the 1995 Power of the Force really just repackage the same vehicles as the vintage ones or something?

  • @fabiandesignz

Yep, Kenner still had access to the old molds.

  • Might as well leave the canopy off kid, 'cause you're never gonna get both Han & Chewie in that cockpit.

  • @hypermite01 yes that is true I found that out myself lol

  • It's MILLENIUM FALCON! You have to put it together.

  • @DrCowboyFace Chewbacca welded it together and R2-D2 fixed the electronics :)

  • @DrCowboyFace so u can illegaly modify it

  • I had both of these when I was a kid.. Wish I still had them!.. however, I think my kids would have broke them.. Good times.. The 80's rocked!

  • thats what it looked like when Lando owned the Milleneum Falcon...

  • Man , i loved those old commercials !

  • that is from year 1999. its the re- done version. not the origanal. trust me I know.

  • Rosebud.

  • what????

  • It's a reference from Citizen Cain that means don't grow up to be a ego maniac and a propaganda tool. Don't fall for industrialist war dreams or the Popular Mechanics writers who try to cover up 9/11 Truth.

Instead: think peace, good times, Lucas film licensed products, snow sleds named Rosebud and let the Force guide you down the good side of the mountain.

  • um, okay????????? i have no clue about what u are saying.

  • Hockeyfanboy: It means he's being pretentious.

  • @ShawneeRanger

Hey Shawnee the Brokeback Mountain Ranger,

Looks like you've been being a little too "unpretentious" with the little kids on You Tube, judging by the comments parents have been leaving on your page. Try some "pretentiousness yourself: It will mean that you should remain silent when talking to kids on YouTube - as in the "you have the right to remain silent"....etc...etc...etc....

  • @ShawneeRanger Just remember what happened to Rosebud in end Smokey the Flaming Sith Lord....they got burned!!!!!!!

    P.S.

Nice job with the analogy Vocalweapons, You managed to fuse 2 of the greatest films in history into a nice sentimental assessment of the Millennium Falcon Toy!!!!

    Bravo!!

  • Or else be thrown into a blazing furnace and burned and scarred like a tragic figure of darkness and doomed to be a slave to your Imperial Fascist masters who will guide you like a Lemming off the dark side of the mountain.

    You will fall down,

    down,

    down,

with bolts of evil energy streaming in all directions as you make your last and final desperate scream for a life that you could have lived, had you not chosen the dark side, by throwing away your toys: "Rooossseeeeeebuud!!!!"

  • my dad said it was a pain to assemble, i dont remember any assembly though, miss those things

  • Even seen Star Wars?

  • What the hell??? I got that toy brand new when in like 1995 for my sixth birthday but this commercial looks like its from the 70's or 80's .....

  • Your Parents or whatever you got it from probably got it from a store that still had the older Star Wars toys

  • More likely gbf392 got the 1995 re-release, not the original.

  • 1995 is not the original either. the real real original is the 1987 verison. it was not the best set cause it did not have any feautures. you had to assembell it. they took it out of stock because people did not like it. no one bought it.

  • They used the same molds

  • You probably got a rerelease from Hasbro. (who absorbed Kenner's properties into itself in the early 90's) Hasbro recycled many of the original Kenner toys designs for the Star Wars toys when they rereleased them. This commercial is from the 80's. (since it mentions this is part of the "Empire Strikes Back" collection.)

  • It's Millenium Falcon? you mean It's THE Millienium Falcon

  • The cockpit didn't shut right, and the console was easily broken, still it was the coolest toy I ever had and I never wanted anything so badly!

  • My buddy had a tie fighter but I had the mil fal, a tie fighter and Vaders' Tie fighter as well. Kickass!

  • My mom loves the millenium falcon!

  • I had the Falcon; but it didn't work nearly as well as the commercial made it out to.

Brings a tear to my eye. Boy I miss those days.

  • i have the millenium falcon and the tie figter

  • batterys not included lol

  • Wow! In the 80's, the commercials had funky music.

  • I brought my tie fighter to school, ahhh the good old days

  • these old toys are quite good it seems people

used to always put lots of good work into making them.:)

  • Sorry Meant I have the POTF2 One

  • ITS THE MILLENEUM FALCON!! (u have to put it together)

  • you know, i heard that when i first listened to it and thought it was kinda outta place, but when i saw u quote it it made me laugh like hell and i watched it again and agian laughing hardr each time at that scene....funny

  • haha ya

  • hahaha fuuuuny...

  • yes yes it is

  • i had both of those toys xD

  • Magical those days of childhood were. Imagination was so powerful that you BECAME the fictional Star Wars universe.

  • It sure sounds like the kid with the Tie-Fighter yells out "FUCK!" when he "hit an asteroid"...

  • hahahaa.... classic!

  • lmao I almost peed my pants laughing when I saw your comment... I wonder what the kid really was saying!

  • Sounds more like "DUCK". Although that wouldn't make much sense...

  • @dtshaggy IKR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I destroyed my tie fighter in under 30 days.. We played Star Wars rough

  • man I so remember having the falcon. Damn I feel old :)

    It was sweet though.

  • I have one of those :>
