Btw, the first file that you get from downloadhelper is not a regular old file that you can't use.

It is actually an flv that you can open with programs like VLC, Media Player Classic, etc with the right codecs

dude, i don't think this works anymore. when you're on Pandora, the three little baloons don't spin. they stay gray, giving you no options. any new ideas?

@tundravix The songs don't download when it starts to play. It (the next song) actually begins to download at about 2/3 through the song that is currently playing. The icon usually becomes greyed out by the time the actual song begins to play unless it is a large file or maybe the next song is already downloading.

you dont need the youtube downloader, just add .mp3 to the file name.

Works great. But when I burn the mp3s on a CD it makes a screeching sound when played in any CD player. Any idea why?

If they play fine on your computer before they're burned, you probably have a defective CD burner.

My only question is do you log into Pandora when you download music or log out? Wondering because this is illegal so I was thinking if it is a little safer if I'm not logged in.

pandora will have no idea that you are stealing their music, worst case, they deactivate your account and you can make another!

The only question i'd ask is how do you go about deleting the files from the desktop, or just moving them to a different location. When i drag the files over the recycle bin a box comes up saying that i need to verify where the file is.

interesting, i first save them to my desktop then add them to itunes, because of my settings, when i add the files to itunes, it automatically copies the files to my itunes folder. later i delete both the original file and the mp3 from the desktop. sometimes youtube downloader makes another mp3 file that no programs can read, this will disappear on your next restart.
