  • bad landing

  • @tkpape Hence you can''t understand Dutch.... This guy is learning and the instructor told him to do so..

  • hello, how mutch did you pay to fly in this simulator with a instructor ? thx and happy new year

  • @nico2006t happy new year, pls look on the site mentioned in the description ;-)

  • ik zou nooit meer gaan werken haha

  • Dear Santa, it's Christmas!

  • WOOOOOOW!!! thunbs up niggas!!!

  • See how much fun they are when youre dog tired; been up most of the day studying flows and procedures; cant remember the last time you slept more than 3 hours, and have a 5 hour sim session at 0230 in the morning to practice V1 cuts. The sim becomes your sworn enemy after a few nights of this.

  • how much does it cost??

  • can this simulator handle crysis?

  • You'll have to build it yourself. Budget with motion platform like this one, think of € 30-40k

  • @ArjenJongeling Hij zegt toch ; niet full motion!

  • @rovpilot1 static: € 15k - € 20k aan materiaal en een uurtje of 1000 bouwen.

  • how much is it

and where can I buy it??

  • @ringoringooo These simulators are to big to fit into a normal house as they would take up almost a entire room. Even if you could buy one as a normal civilian from somewhere I doubt you have anywhere near the amount of money one of these cost.

  • fckng geinig

  • Boeing all day every day. Nice shirt :)

  • the main problem with flights sims at the moment is they are still using pixel based animation. there pretty good hardwar wise but the terrain the commercial flight sims use is only slightly better than the home pc sims and theoretically the same. maybe they shoudl develp a flight simulator that actually gains lift in an indoor wind tunnel with aerodynamical features.

  • They say microsofts flight sims are as good as you can get for home use. However, I would love one of these things.

I've only tried sims, but flying seems fairly easy. The bits that seem difficult are the instructions from air traffic control and landing the big jumbos.

  • i´ve seen cooler and more realistic in regular peoples homes! This sucks...

  • Head is in the cockpit too much!

Keep your eyes up and set the climb attitude.

  • @ChrizRockster You are supposed to moniter the PFD not look out

  • @issueagent

This is why a vast majority of air incidents happen with pilots on low hours these days. They become system monitors and not aviators. What happens if you lose the PFD? Oh no, no screen to look at. You shouldn't rely on systems to do your flying.

When you fly, you set pitch for a speed. Only time that looking out is not possible, is during IFR conditions.

  • @ChrizRockster Not true. Airline pilots should refer to the PFD/ Artificial Horizon while manually flying the plane. It is a significant point that they do not exceed their pitch limits. Also, this gives them a reference to their vertical speed/airspeed etc. Its said in the boeing manual. Its practical, for instance if you are in IFR conditions CATI / II /III you will not be able to judge your pitch or heading, besides a 15 degree climb will disable you from seeing much scenery. Its just the sky

  • @issueagent I agree. The instructor in this sim also 'hammered' on looking to the instruments. If you study DVD's like 'world air routes' you'll see that pilots keep scanning the instruments during final. At minimums you start deviding your attention between instruments and the outside world.

  • @ChrizRockster Yeah, if your airline flies Cessna 172s...

  • @swa5297

Thats a flippant comment. Check out the report on the Air France disastor over the Atlantic. They ran a sim and realised that with total loss of your airspeed (frozen or damaged pitot tubes) they could still fly the aircraft to within 5 knots based on pitch and an engine setting on the EICAS. Any Instructor will tell you that all aircraft fly the same - its just a different set of limitations.

  • Continued...

My friend has just gained his ATPL with CTC Wings in New Zealand. He went from a MEP to flying an Airliner - sure a lot more systems to learn but the flying follows the same rules.

I've flown three different types under SEP and they all fly the same way - they just have different v speeds and the view out the window varies for manouvres.

  • @ChrizRockster Obviously if there is a failure of one of the instruments you'll have to change the way you fly but generally airline pilots rely on their instruments much more often than visual references outside the aircraft. All aircraft DO NOT fly the same. In a Cessna 172 for a PVP your instructor will tell you to look outside. Once you get to flying 737's and the like there are specific procedures that require use of the flight instruments for maneuvering.

  • wonderful sim , and good job pilot!

  • Awesome!

  • @ArjenJongeling i could't land that thing if i where you cuz that guy beside you are talk all the way so i don't have consentresion

  • @dog009988 Well, he's the instructor that talks you through it. Without his help, it would have been very difficult.

  • @ArjenJongeling for you not for me i have home cockpit and if some of my friends talk alot i will be confusde with what im doing i don't like ppl that talk alot when im doing things like consentret

  • @dog009988 Ah, a colleague! After this flight, Robert and I started building a home 737 cockpit as well. It has been tested by a real life 737 instructor/test pilot and believe me, when he talks to you, you listen ;-)

  • Nice, morgen zit ik daar :)

ik hoop dat alles goed ga verlopen :)

  • Wat geinig, ik ben het zelf!
