  • Thank you!!! Works like a HOT DAMN!!! :D

  • dude ur a frickin legend wayy better than those other gayboys. :-)

  • THANK YOU SOO MUCH, YOU'RE A LIFE SAVER!! :D

  • ok scrath my last post.. my songs are coming up as random letters... do i have to manually rename them all now? wtf would it change my song names to sum BS letters

  • k thanks a lot.. u say in the description to navigate to Media in the left side bar... that doesnt exist... all it shows is my iPod, root directory, and Apps.. no Media.. any suggestions?

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!

  • not helpful i aint downloading a virus fool

  • what should i do if my ipod is coming up as a camera

  • @UnGr3aTFuL Windows does this since that's the only thing Apple wants you to use it for without going into iTunes.

If you're following the video method, but using the software in the description, the processes are completely different. Instead of using Windows Explorer, open iExplorer (the one you just installed), and select your iPod from the sidebar. From there, open Media, iTunes_Control, and copy the files out.

  • It doesnt work with windows 7 64bit systems. But it works with everything else, lol wow.

  • @TheLg884 Are you sure you're using the updated method in the description? I use Windows 7 x64 and iExplorer worked fine other than the weird Safari .dll error I mentioned in the description (which didn't even affect it).

With the older software, it hasn't been updated in years, so I would kind of expect that...

  • WHY CAN I ONLY COPY 10 OMFG????

  • I LOVE U!!!!!!

  • very helpfull ! :)

  • wow what a fucking downer haha well off to find another damn way to do this thing that should be fucking easy but apple just have to be bitches lol

  • thanks

  • where is windows task manager i cant find it on my computer

  • @richpartygal123 Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc. to open it directly. You can also press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but if you're on vista or 7, you also have to click "Start Task Manager".

You could also just right click the taskbar at the bottom of your screen and click "Start Task Manager"

  • thanx a lot dude!

  • the link works!! iphone folders works!!! if you have a mac it also automatically names the files for you too!! thank you so much!

  • when i edit my folder setting to to show the hidden folders there is no ipod control folder what do i do then ?

  • @divinedestiny93 A lot of people have been having problems, so I posted an update in the description.

Basically, the software I originally used hasn't been updated in a really long time, and I found another program that shouldn't have as many problems, because the iTunes_Control folder isn't hidden (and it supports 64 bit).

  • @divinedestiny93 i found the itunes_control under media

  • oh my days, i've been trying to find a new way to get my music off my touch for hours now. i used to use diskaid, but i ran out of trial. they got wise to the uninstall, reinstall.

thank you so much, you legend (y)

  • 1 person doesnt have an ipod/computer

  • Great job dude I hope ur gf blows u every night

  • @GTwWeapon his bf you mean?

  • Does IT Work For Iphone 4?

  • THANK YOU !!!

  • Please help i don't know how to add apps in iTouch then i start clicking stuff then when i opened my iTouch songs are gone and when i open iTunes i clicked devices then iPod then i saw only summary and no Music,Videos.Photos,Info tabs and no sync please help me

  • @azzoldino I don't understand what you're trying to say. Are you saying that you can't sync your iPod, the tabs are missing and your iPod has no media? Try restoring the iPod in iTunes to the latest firmware then adding all of your media again.

  • iphone folders wasn't on my computer. any help? :(

  • @Jibbles345 Make sure that you installed it correctly. If you're sure you did, try rebooting your computer.

If you can't get iPhone Folders to work, try using iPhone explorer instead.

  • thnx it worked really well

  • nice one dude thanks

  • Thank you sooooooooo much. That was great. I mean it took a while, not as fast as the video showed it to be. It took a lot of patience with all the music moving and it crashed a few times. Maybe thats cause I have 900 songs? Lol. Anyways, thanks a bunch. Finally one that worked.

  • i used windows 7 THNX

  • i got fucked at step 7, everything worked until then. i opened computer, iphone folders, Max's iPod (ipod touch), then iTunes_Control wasnt there.

  • @CnRDirt Try making Windows Explorer view hidden files and folders. Open any folder, and press Alt+T. From that menu, select "Folder Options". Under the view tab, search for "Show hidden files and folders" select it and click OK. See if that works. Also, when you finish, you can turn it back off.

It might be slightly different for you since I'm currently using Windows XP.

  • @datadude360 yeah i tried this, "show hidden folders and files" thing and this did not work for me i still cant view itunes_Control...i am currently running windows vista. would this be the problem ?

  • @3606309336 Try manually typing it into the address bar. If that doesn't work, try using iPhone explorer and copy the files out of itunes_control. I think that it's under the system folder, but I can't remember what it's called... It's the one that doesn't have apps in it.

  • Lol, thank you.. I just got an Apple yesterday ;)

  • omg youre a music savior

i would worship the ground you walk on

    thank you very much

noone else videos showed me how to do exactly what you told me to do :)

  • And ICOpyBot isnt free u ahve to buy it to transfer everything to ur ipod

  • I mean Itunes

  • what is the name of the song you are playing

  • @iivan1254 It was something I found in YouTube's AudioSwap. I don't remember what the title was since I chose it a year ago--And honestly, I didn't even recognize it when I first heard it in order to answer your question. I looked through what audioswap has currently, but they must have taken it out.

If you want it, I stripped the audio from the video and made it fade out. Download it at

    bit . ly / dZZUsx

but with no spaces. Click download on that page, skydrive doesn't like linking to files...

  • hey do you still have your songs names when u do this cu i dont want my songs to be named fggfdg

  • @Brad13139TV No, that's just how iTunes syncs them. If you can't just ignore it, then you can rename each one individually.

  • Does this work with the iPod touch 3rd gen 4.1version?

  • @smuniz81 It should work with all iOS devices on any firmware.

  • Dude you rock!
