  • Greetings! I'm viewing your video and maybe help save you money and time cleaning your rifle. In the U.S. we have disc brake cleaner in spray can and costs about two dollars. Careful of spills and dripping. I notice your using a length of wire as your pull thru? Is the wire coated? Obtain a 45 pound fishing leader and attach 45 pound fishing line instead. Fishing line winds tighter and can be used as part of your bug out bag. Good video, nice rifle. Keep making videos. Musketsniper.

  • STUPID CAT!! :D

  • I simply spray ballistol into the barrel and shrub it with a bronze brush and clean/dry it using small patches wrapped around a smaller brush (223 in a 308 barrel). Takes out all the fauling.

  • where can i fine the pull rod ur useing that make things look way to easy i use motor oil an hops mix an wet my guns once a mnth but mine are in a safe an nothing gets in there or wet

  • Nice rifle! I've got 2 (No.1 Mk. 3 though) and they are by far my favorite rifles.

  • You obviously haven't had serious copper fauling issues. If you aren't forced to use a copper brush and scrub, your problems aren't bad. I've used 7.62 on a couple hunting rifles that were not taken care of. I had to use a brush 2 or 3 times just to releave the fauling.

  • you dont get it mate, most people dont know or dont care, so long as they have a warm home, tv and an endless list of pigshit for brains celebrities they dont care...look at california

  • I would suggest that she move back to the USA asap, we have lost the right to be judged by a jury, are guilty until proven innocent and can be put in jail for up to 8 months without charge, welcome to the united socialist states of europe...

  • no semi auto's, pistols, registration etc etc

  • yes we can but the laws are bad

  • I tried sweets the other day on my mauser . Its not bad but , its extremely strong smelling. I cant believe u used that shit in your house..I prefer butches bore shine, and brownells bore polish.its given me great results...do u use a bore brush?

  • there are these things called windows which I use to get the smell out :)

I sure as hell dont use a bore brush when using this stuff, but in normal cleaning yes I do.

  • seriously man that shit smells like bleach..i had to do it in the garage..why dont u use a bore brush with it?

  • because bore brush's are made out of copper! and this shit eats up copper for breakfast!

  • well i like to use a nylon brush so i dont scratch the bore, but i get the jist of it...strong ass shit

  • They are made of bronze, nylon or stainless steel. Stainless is too strong for any bore in my opinion. Bronze is what I use in ss barrel. Nylon has never worked well enough for me.

  • @jubbles2343 most modern bore brushes are brass man.

  • @bjizzle123 doesnt brass have some copper in it

  • @skateboy159 yes, copper and zinc, but brass brushes have been fine for me, and so have the stiff nylon ones.

  • very informative. Ive been trying to figure out a good pull through method with my patches. Hehe, when you msn beeped in the video, i thought it was my msn going off :P

  • Thats a slick lookin three O'. Is it an unissued 1950's one? Im currently trying to ge my hands on one stocked in beech here in OZ. In the vid the stock looks glossy, did u refinish it or is original?

  • it is one of thefirst batch of no4 mk2's ever produced, the stock is original

  • was that the pulthrough that came with the rifle? my 1917 lee enfield had the origional cleaning kit. Yeah i just picked up another enfield.

  • make a d of the enfield, and no it wasnt the one that came with the rifle

  • i will its a US enfield of 1917 the main US ww1 rifle it was the British version of the mauser.
