@elisprague Thanks dude! Well I have GP5, it doesn't cost too much for someone who uses it for the midi capabilities and song construction uses, I only use it for convenience of learning certain songs. I used powertab to learn this song though, and it's freeware not as fancy as GP but close enough.
@morbidangel27 I'd say it's a mixture of learning/jamming to songs I love to listen to, and grabbing techniques and ideas that spawn from that. After that it's just imprinting it into my playing and building up from there...this song for instance changed the way I played since I had to play these wide 6 fret-stretches with chords Misha uses, and it's in turn helped me figure out cool drop-tuning riffs that I wouldn't have figured out otherwise. That's been my learning process as of late!

It's actually an american deluxe, custom made for this guy back in 2001. I actually traded it a while back to fund an v-30 loaded Avatar 2x12, it was a beast of a guitar though - all maple neck/fretboard, abalone inlays - no s1 switch and comfort heel like the newer deluxe's. I now have an Ibby RG321MH and an RG7321. Just need a new computer so I can record videos with them! Also new original music, just need the proper utilities to record them with!
