Unfortunately, it's true. I'm friends with Matt Good (The guitarist and singer of FFTL) on Facebook, and he posted on Wednesday, the 28th of July, that the band is going on hiatus, but not due to ill will, and they will always be FFTL. He provided a link for more details but youtube won't let me post it.
Some interesting news, though. He is going to be playing guitar in a band with Craig Owens, former "Chiodos" vocalist.

I want to hear FFTL play "Elvis Said Ambition Is a Ream With a V8 Engine" live. That's the best song from their new album in my opinion.
