just to let you know, the bolt release is supposed to "wobble" if you would to give it a nice effect although it doesn't do anything. higher quality guns actually provide one that really releases the bolt just as gas rifle M4/M16's would. nice review though.... personally no offense, i did not like the custom version you purchased...no flash hider and a free floating barrel with an inaccurate gas block is not for me.

it wobbles because you can take your rail system off when i was in iraq my rail system wobbles alot too you just pull down on the little grip and the rail system should come apart

@ak47man2000 Are you talking about the rail wobbling? If so on my Sr12 the rail doesn't wobble AT ALL so If you're talking about rail wobble, there isn't any, at least as far as the SR12 goes.

@ak47man2000 Ah ok, Never used an older model, seeing as I just got mine, well I'm happy, I highly recommend it, but whatever you do do NOT use .2 bbs, the gun is pretty much too strong for them and the hopup wont help on them much, I recommend .25s or above, since I'm turning mine into a DMR.

I got this M4 from a different brand and my friend got the SR-12. All he did most of the time was tell me how much better his gun is than mine. At SC Village Yesterday, he had 4 or 5 problems with this gun. I haven't had any with my gun.

Really good review, you got some potential. it sounds like you know what you're talking about instead of half-assing it like the other noob reviews. quality of the video is nice. thanks for using a tripod to mount the camcorder on. i hate watching the ones that move around like the blair witch project. the only bad thing i can say about this is the background, i'd change it to white instead of dark green. looking forward to more reviews! clicking the yellow button now...

the KWA SR12 annihilates the DBoy.  not saying DBoy is bad but for your first gun i would go with the DBoy unless you have $450+ to the the SR12 plus a battery etc.

Like a few people explained, this is not a SR12 and its not even a SR12 knockoff. The SR12 is a new generation kwa, this gun is just a modified old gen kwa. I think the title should be changed since it may confuse people.

Yeppers lol except for the fact that the evike custom is an SR12 lol. They have the same RIS and front sight but flash hidder and gearbox and outer barrel are different. Trust me I pre-ordered one and I talk to Kwa Staff :D

Ok right now after viewing the KWA forums : OLD 2009 KWA's will not be obsolete. The old KWA's can also take 80% of the new 2009 KWA's internal upgrades and fixes. Also the majority of the changes were common problems and rails. If you are lucky and you P-O'd from ASGI you may be in the special pre-release shipment.

DUDES I JUST ORDERED MY 2009 KWA KM16 SR12 that looks exactly like this one in the video with out the carrying handle and no wobble for the ras and has a one piece barrel and a 2GX gearbox with all 9mm ball bearings instead of 4 8mm and 2 9mm ball bearings

Of course, but it looks nice, its supposed to make the barrel more sturdy, obviously not in his case, and provides some nice real estate for things like a bipod, flash light, foregrip, what have you. Airsoft is all about the realism.
