TO SET THINGS STRAIGHT WITH THE CHAMBER OF DESTINY EFFECTS:
@pyrotechnic44 is correct. There is indeed one path/hall of promise. The effect is created by moving the walls of the chamber, as well as the signs for each chamber. For the chamber you are going in, the walls move so that that sign is over the middle of five doors (the only real opening path). Once you enter, the hall of promise creates the corresponding signs effect.
OK, TO SET THINGS STRAIGHT WITH THE HALL OF PROMISE EFFECTS:
-Future=the vehicle is tilted upwards and the ceiling is illuminated with, directing your attention and the walls are not illuminated.
-Earthly Riches=A cloth image (scrim) is back-lit and depicts believers dancing in gold.
-Eternal Youth=The same cloth image is front-lit, but behind another scrim. The believer from the previous scrim is depicted but looks as if he/she is dancing and drinking the water found on the front scrim.
Actually, the movin wall is what happens. The room is kinda an illusion: it puts curtains on the walls and changes colour for a certain theme, but it is the same. The imaginers at Disney did this so you think you were going in a different room every time, but it is the SAME room.
@BuryMeInBlack1313, I appreciate the, uh, criticism......but this is indeed correct. The doors don't move. There are 4 sets of fake doors, and the 1 set of real doors.
If you're talking about the real ride, it doesn't go in the same room every time. It changes tracks. I know this because I rode it twice once, and one time it was a room made out of gold, and the second time it was all purple and there was an opening in the roof. And I'm not criticizing you.
omg! thank you for posting a visual example because i never understood it when reading how it was done on the internet but now i get it. i didnt know the walls actually moved like that.
@happylove123454 because the lighting changes in every room. alot of the things in there are hidden with scrim (the same thing in the stretching room in the haunted mansion with the dead body) and the ways they light the room reveals the different colors and pictures
Thanks for the comment. It is correct though, 100%. I have confirmed it with mechanics that work there, along with several photos and blueprints. The differences you see are done by the use of 'scrims'. When lit differently, they will show different things, when lit from behind, you wont see the screen, when lit in front you will. Send me a message if you want to see some blueprints and such.
@pyrotechnic44 theres also a video you can find of a news broadcast that did "Disney After Dark" or something like that and they showed behind the scenes of Indy. They show you how the boulder scene works as well as this one with the lights on so you can see "the room" move.
I don't think this is correct, because if you look at the paintings in the chambers, they are all different (each depicting its corresponding treasure: wealth, knowledge, youth). Nice video though, and very interesting concept!

In the room the ceiling rotates and the walls change to match what door you have gone through. I hope that helps.
