Sweet! Sorry to be so nosy but I just bought some 1/2 inch pipe and it is really flimsy! How do you get yours to be firm like a regular hoop? Is it the tape?
Perhaps. I use gaffers tape. There are about four layers on this hoop. You can definitely make it stiffer by adding more but it does also add weight too.

what kind of hoop do you use? it looks much thinner and lighter than the hoop i am used to using...

I make my hoops with 1/2 inch, 100 psi, flexipipe because I prefer my hoops thinner and lighter.
