Yes. It was only Styre (I think) that had four fingers and a thum.

lol....totally agree with you about the original sontarans compared to the new version....I also prefer the figure of the originals too....the Sontaran stratagem figures are awful!!!..i despise their joints and articulation

When you get the two Sontarans together you can really see how different there face are. And they was you show all the detail in this video I think I would buy this set and not the 4th doctor set.

lol i love how you have a go at the modern sontarans. i do agree that it does look a little silly standing next to those two classic sontarans, perhaps if they made them a little taller and used the classic livery they'd look slightly better :)

Wow, u clearly were very enthused about this set! U sounded very excited! Wouldnt you just love an invasion of time set with Commander Storr (with his cool helmet and silly little cockney head) two sontaran warriors with helmets that dont detach, and then a fourth dr re-release. I'd buy that for 35 quid, i'd finally have a classic Sontaran army! And I agree with u on the new sontaran designs, simply put WTF!

I know what you mean. The sontarans in 'Invasion of Time' are pretty poor. The again, the story's pretty poor (in my opinion anyway)

Great video mate, as always.

Though I have to politely disagree with what you said about the New Sontarans. The new Sontaran design isn't as bad as all that. Apart from their lack of height (which is ridiculous, I grant you) they're okay. At least their not a total reimagining like the so called "Silurians" in the new series.

Will definitely pick up this set when funds allow. Nice review :) Look forward to seeing more ;)

Wonderful lne "If you open it up it still looks like a portaloo" . I love how your annoyed by the inside of the ship. I was aswell. Theres like little to no space and the sontaran doesn't even fit in his own ship. Awesome lines continue with "How do you fly it theres no controls" 6:31 was an awesome bit. That noise you made was just so funny. Yes yes yes the helmet is a complete bugger to get on his head. Oh my dear Matt that bit when you said this is not what a Sontaran is suppose to look like

Matt, I so know what ya mean about the modern Sontarons, they look like something from Marvel comics or something.  With the stuff Pertwee necks, have you ever tried the freezer trick, the same one can use for the early classic Dalek sets?

Yeah, when the time comes, I'll try to get this one & get Styre loose. Shame about Pertwee legs. :/ Maybe I'm in the minority, but I actually like the Styre mask. It's after it that I feel the Sontaran masks went down hill. :P Yeah it looks like a mask, but I think I prefer the Styre mask over the Linx makeup/dome head because I've always found it too fake looking. I still like it though, I do, but I think the Styre mask is a little better.

I have been saying that this was the better set all along! The one thing i wanted CO to do was add more weathering to the ship, and they did it. This is one of the good ones, this is what the last 4 davros sets have been building up to!
