@BASSANDCARGUY219 -- I honestly don't carry mine much. It's a pretty big gun to carry every day. I do sometimes if I'm wearing a sport coat, or dressed for colder weather. I mainly have it staged for a "bump-in-the-night" gun. -- I have a Glock 26 that I actually carry every day. It is much easier to conceal year-round. -- Thanks for stopping by!
@BASSANDCARGUY219 -- Me too! -- I've carried mine (Ruger P95) some with a Fobus Paddle Holster when I can conceal it, but I mostly use that for the range. I'd probably carry mine more if I could get the right holster. I'm afraid that is the never ending quest! If you come up with something that you like let me know! My big gut prefers me carrying OWB, it's not much on anything else getting crammed inside of my waist band! ;^{P>
@AppalachianFreedom right well if i find one ill let you know for sure i have carried my brothers taurus and that was a heavy heavy gun but i liked it idk if id like the in side the waist band but i have been wanting to try it
I dont know about the CC part but I got a fobus paddle holster about a year ago and love it. I mostly use it while riding. Also id like to mention that this is one of my favorite guns too. It reliable, easy to break down and easy to clean, plus i shoot it well.
@TrueBassAddiction -- PM on the way! Thank you for visiting our little Channel! Ruger has a bunch of new options out now. The LC9 would be a great economical CC pistol...I may eventually get one myself!
@elblancobasura -- I don't think it will even be much of a torture test for your P95. I've ran an awful lot of old Russian steel cased stuff through mine and have never had a hiccup. Gets pretty dirty though! Looking forward to your results!
It's what's sitting on my nightstand too. Been using them since 1998 and have had three. The first one I gave to my father and I bought two more. One decock only before they stopped making them and this one. Love it. I own Glocks as well and they're fantastic of course but I like the safety feature on this gun, its shootability, the fact that it eats anything, it's solidly built and ruged, good sights, good capacity, decent trigger, and a sensational price point. Customer service is good too.
@elblancobasura -- With the cooler weather I've actually carried mine some lately. Wore it to Church this morning on my belt under my suit coat. Worked out pretty well!
it may sound old school, but i grab my 1858 Remington because it never fails to fire on me and i can carry all six chambers loaded because it has notches for the hammer to rest in between the chambers.
@AppalachianFreedom absolutely! a gun is a very personal item, it needs to be exactly the way you like it. and that handgun, fits my hand like it was made for it. hehe!
How has the Ruger P9515 been for you? Ruger makes some very quality firearms i have never owned one of their pistols besides a Ruger 22 pistol but i have thought about picking up one of those new Ruger LC9 9mm compact pistols sometime
@gunnerrun13 -- @astrowanabe -- I have put a lot of rounds through it for over two years now and haven't had a problem. The only thing is that it is a bear to carry so it generally lives in my "Bump-In-The-Night Bag!"
Brotherskeepers111 - Has a great review on his new LC9!
@AppalachianFreedom according to Ruger's website the P95 is sold in 4 variants. The ending "PR15" indicates that the firearm has a piccatiny rail and comes w/ 15 round mags (instead of 10 round mags). The main difference between the P95PR15 and the KP95PR15 is the slide material. K means stainless, no prefix means standard blued. The stainless model also comes w/ stainless mag release button. IIRC they use the same instruction manual for both models.
@gunsnammochannel -- I hate to hear that. I've not heard of many problems from folks. Mine has never hiccupped. I wonder if it is something that could be pinned down and corrected? Let me know what you find out!

I'm going to do a 1000 round torture test in October or November with a P-95 using 500 rounds of steel cased and 500 rounds of brass cased.

isn't your model actually the KP95PR15 (stainless model) with the P95PR15 (what you call it in the video) being the blued model?
astrowanabe 10 months ago
@astrowanabe -- The info with mine said P95PR15 -- I would like to be sure about that if something is wrong.
