when you made a character in bannedstory its easier to save it as a sprite sheet, that way you have every action a character can make :)

also using hotkeys in flash is easier eg. ctrl+r for importing, f6 for a new keyframe etc.

Ahhh, i have a problem (I apologize if i sound whiny here, it's just that i'm very frustrated)

I set the frame rate to 24 but when i press play, it plays somewhere around 10 fps. This is only in while i'm working on the vid, when i export it everything's fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated :o

Tweening can never be accurate so you should never teach other people to use it for walking, runs etc. Move every frame a set amount of pixels instead.

oh and another thing. i notice that some animators (stalemeat for example) use flash AND sony vegas for animation. im having difficulty finding out how to import, or open my flash document ona video editing software.

on top of that, the animation going on in my project is happening in just a small location in the whole image. how can i crop the flash document so i only focus on the action at hand? please help

Yeah. I use sony vegas too. First of all video editting softwares can't open flash file i think. So u shoud save your work at another one. Like wma, avi or mpeg... (I prefer u to save as avi). U can make location bigger in Macromedia Flash. Just press on white screen and u will see settings for resolution. If u wanna zoom ur video use Sony Vegas.
