I think I know what you mean by that, but it is true. Her birth name is Geethali Norah Jones Shankar. Her parents are Ravi Shankar and Sue Jones. Both are excellent muscians in their own rights. They certainly passed those gifts on to their extremely talented daughter. Not only the unique sultry voice, but her incredible gift of passion for the music she is playing. Her piano playing and all the emotional "extra notes" she puts in are just exquisite and make all the difference in the world!

Thank you, mwahahatay. I have to admit I was hoping for some kind of feedback on this great song. It took me a long time to discern that the words were not being spoken to someone else. She (in this case Norah Jones) is talking or thinking to herself. At least that's how it seems to me. I guess it's pretty obvious the words have a special, personal meaning. Whatever the interpretation, Norah Jones nails it. I think "Come Away With Me" is probably the greatest album ever made.

it was a movie with jude law and natalie portman. norah was the lead role in that movie and she was great! the photo is at the very end of the movie where norah and jude are kissing on top of the counter. (she fell asleep and he decided to kiss her, then she kissed back.) it's very sweet.
