  • Trouble Clef

  • @gregchance324 I don't think you can use it, it's a composition by Nino Rota, and it's the theme song of Romeo and Juliet (the old one). So even though someone is interpreting it, you can still get sued for using copyrighted work :)

  • only if someone makes a song and copyrights it, then it is theirs. but if i do a cover of a song it belongs to me. So if he says i can use HIS music, i can use it

  • from 2:19 to 2:53 is my favorite part of the song. it's sad though because in the movie that's the tune playing at both of their deaths. you played this really well, i loved it

  • You play this beautifully. I keep coming back to it.. it's very inspiring to listen to, ty!

  • Absolutely beautiful. Makes me teary-eyed as I think about Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey in Romeo & Juliet. On that note, I shall go and watch the video once again.

  • Bravo! mi hai fatto sognare...

    You made me dream

  • Translated "Bravo! you made me dream ...

  • Where can I find tablature for this? It's one of my all-time favorite songs!

  • luv dis song. You do pick fantastic songs! I appreciate your playing and your taste. PURE IMAGINATION is still holding as my fav 1 of urs.

  • Your playing is illustrious, as always. This score, in my opinion, was one of the highlights in Franco Zeffirelli's "Romeo and Juliet." You capture its sense of youthful naivete and the foreboding fate of the young lovers.

    This equals love.

  • you caught feeling of this melody...do you have tab?

  • oh man. tears. BRAVO!

  • Nobody plays the guitar like you, man. You put so much heart into it...it's like you let your listener into your soul or something, lol.

  • Dang, your really good man

  • omg this was in romeo and juliet

o dude u mentioned it already

  • I also really like your guitar, it has amazing sound quality!

  • Really beautifull quiet music

  • :D while listeing... a fallen leaf sails by... "forget the cold, expect spring, grass turns greener, cats are asleep" ...time to wake up. I always thougt my inner animal was a cat but obviously I am a bear. Your performance seem to wake up things in me, thx very much
  • Two minutes fifty three seconds of peace in a hectic life Thank you for that :-)

  • OMG I love this song

and I love romeo and juliet!!!!!!!

  • B.A.ootiful Sir. Always love listening to you play.

    P.S

(Please don't do a collaboration with DJ Simon Bates on this one.. I couldn't take another of his stories! :) Lol! Phil

  • I went as far back to listen to your rendition of "A Felicidade" and this tune "What is Youth". Both come from very different movies based on a love story. Romeo & Juliet and Orfeo Negro. Both tunes contain a very melodic opening and sad overtones because at the end of each movie, the lovers end up dying.

  • I've been hearing this over & over for the past couple of days, that finally I purchased the DVD movie of Romeo & Juliet on line. I always enjoy listening to your guitar playing. I wonder if your ability to play such great music, compares to the Greek legend of Orpheus.

  • enjoy the movie. and thanks but Orpheus had the ability to calm the wild beasts with his music. By comparison my cat used to run from the room every time i picked up the guitar. true story.

  • my cat just jumped from our 15 storey building ;)

    nice work

  • Maybe cat's can't stand anything but just intonation.

  • LOL I see you have a large following of fans who greatly enjoy listening to your music. Thats why I compared you to Orpheus, your soothing music calms everyones spirit.

  • The "Trouble with Clef" is that he is simply irresistible and captivating regardless of the genre (and personal preference).

This one here is yet another outstanding rendition which hits - not only - all the right notes (as usual) but heart strings to boot. For the rest, I can only join Jazzgut and others in his/their much more eptly put comment/s. Beautiful, simply beautiful!

  • can i get tabs if u dont mind

  • Excellent playing Tony, like said before but I need to stress it again, great dynamics, emotion and you're taking the time(where necessary) to tell your story, the maestro has done his work very good, thank you for shearing, greets Victor. • Excellent! excellent excellent. The difference between this very competent guitarist and many other "competent" guitar players including myself, ( most of the time ) is that Tony here plays sincerely from his very soul. Listening and watching this video, was like getting a glimpse of heaven. I could never tire of it. Thank you.

  • such emotion- just great T-just great,

    sully
