Tested this myself, if you shoot the crate in the correct spot it can catapult you up.

Granted, I shot it in the center so all I got was a small jump but, when I jumped first then hit it I got an extra boost at the cost of some health.

If you played HL2 you would know that the headcrab zombies have that farily long wind up animation that most of us use to back up and whack em another two times before the wind up animation plays again.

@ThatOGDon nvm. the crate punch works exactly like it's shown. I was testing in an area that apparently had a player clip that limited how high I was able to jump.

@ThatOGDon I know that gravity lets you jump higher, not much though, as I needed a jeep grenade and gravity beam to get myself over a combine wall, but some of the regular jumps in this video are just impossible and it is all too easy... no way almost no enemies hit him during the whole run while he ran past them, when I do that I get smacked at least

However, Gordan Freeman had the firearms training of a run-of-the-mill police officer whilst Master Chief was some sort of super soldier.
