@cjdee94 Not necessarily. Some of his gear is picked up by the crew afterward. Same goes for the junk he uses to survive. Heck, he might not of even walked to the camp, just called in.

I first saw this episode right after I saw the man vs wild where Bear drinks his pee from the snake skin. Then Les says "the toxins in your pee can kill you if the are ingested." It really show who actually is trying to survive.

@balletlunatic Any one who knows a little about survival wouldn't do the things Bear Grylls does. Like going into a huge cave system with a torch just to see if you can make it out. Bear is Hollywoods survivalist.

@idRATHERbeOUTDOORS well it makes sense if you look where there coming from. Les Shroud is a survival and wilderness teacher. Bear Gryss is an adventurer. Les Shroud has a small shop with his wife and his biggest accomplishments are his highly acclaimed career as a jazz musician (besides this show).

Bear Gryss used to be british SAS, then after became the youngest person to climb mt everest as well as first person to cross the atlantic on a liferaft and many other crazy things
