It's good but it just doesn't have the same 'ooomph' as the original. If you made the bass more prominant and louder from 1:44 - 2:13, I think it would be much better and I do not know if you can but you could include a kind of 'dudun' from a drum throughout. :)

I agree with you that it's a disgrace to make a Hans Zimmer remix. But it's a fact that this is also music. But music isn't a fact.

A song consists of two types of things: The music and the lyrics. The music is a visual way to describe a feeling without any language needed. The lyrics is a poethic way to describe a feeling intellectually. This song hasn't got any lyrics. Some songs have only got lyrics, such as Hip-Hop or RnB etc.

Therefore every genre can be called music...

It's quite haunting, but strings have a much more haunting sound. i's really great, but kind of kills off the original's "purpose". Your version is really great and would go into a video game level or something, which makes sense! This is pretty awesome! :D great job, 5/5 stars.  This is about as "modern music" as the Crimson Tide Theme can get without totally destroying it! Nice job!

It certainly does not have the powerful, epic and almost terrifying feel of the original, which is great a conveying the feel of a mighty, unstoppable military machine that will leave the world cowering in its wake... but I feel like that wasn't the point of this remix. And for a trance/techno song, I have to say, this is pretty good. Nice job - it must have been a little tough converting a song from such a different genre to trance.
