This as the first movie I ever went to.. my parents didn't use babysitters because one they did use stole a load of stuff out of the house. Anyway I was one year old at the time, didn't see nor understand any of the movie BUT I remember that I was imitating this theme song for weeks after going to the movie!

@bkeay100 Peter Sellers was Evelyn Tremble in the movie Casino Royale. Interestingly, Sellers was not supposed to die at the end of the movie. The movie was a disastrous production with 6 different directors and a slew of writers. Sellers LEFT the production before completing all of his scenes, so the ending was changed to have him killed off. Frankly, the only thing that made this movie good was Herb Alpert's soundtrack. This movie was 4 years after "The Pink Panther" and "Shot In The Dark"

I just watched a dvd of Casino Royale(love! this theme), and I wondered that too.

The Life and Death of Peter Sellars was fascinating but made him seem like a monster. Go to IMdB and check out the trivia for this move. He seems to have been a lot like the bio says.

Great song, maybe a bit better than the 'official' Bond theme of the year, which was, I believe, Tom Jones' 'Thunderball'. Unfortunately, it seems that the bad film sank the great theme. Best scene: Peter Sellers v. the Ticket Agent
