  • this band was in my so called life. awesome show

  • Loved you guys from the beginning

  • One of my all time favorite bands and singers!!! Love Animal Bag!!!

  • OMG - love these guys - miss them ...

  • Very good! This song is very hard to find!

  • wow I am so blown away.... I did not know that David had died... I knew him from when I workewd in radio and they were promoting the album... personally I think he died of a broken heart due to the vampires and music whores that bled them dry..

they could have gotten somewhere if they had been given some direction

  • @carmen41 Cheeziest comment ever. Broken heart yeah right, prolly drugs. Just because you like a ban doesnt mean you have to be ignorant.

  • @Ekyvvsaq you're the ignorant one you stupid douche

  • @carmen41 Weeell if you say so, thats the way it is, even though you offer no arguments for that statement.

Ok I know he didnt die from drugs now, but "broke heart"? Seriously? Do you have like the biggest god-complex in the world? Glorifying and making people heroes in your head isnt gonna take you anywhere ...

  • @Ekyvvsaq I happen to know personally how they were taken advantage of..... I worked in radio when they were promoting themselves... like I said before .. they only needed a break which was not given to them.

Call it cheezy if you like.. I know better

  • @carmen41 It didnt cause him to die.

  • @matphat: I neglected to mention that Rich Parrish has also passed on. I don't remember exactly when it was, but I think it was sometime in the spring of 2010. I don't remember the details of it, he had been ill for sometime apparently.

  • @matphat: Yes, I am sorry to confirm for you that Boo died in his sleep some years ago in his hometown of Charlotte, NC.The official cause of death was "natural causes".

  • Saw these guys live in Nashville several times. Talked to the guys on several evenings after shows. They were my crews favorite band at the time. I had "Offering" when I moved away and listened to it on the beach every day. Transformational years for me. Animal Bag's music was like a sound track for that time. Thanks guys for your music. R.I.P. Boo.

  • @matphat what Boo is dead ? wtf? is this true? what happened?

  • I remember cn these guyz play bac n 1992 @ Backstage Club n Houston TX!! They rocked the place!! Awesome gig!!! :oD

  • @rikkisogazgf Dude! I was at that same show at Back stage. That was awesome! My sister and I got to meet Luke just before the show. He was so cool and gorgeous! So sad what has happened since.

  • my so-called life.

    <3

  • @jenniesacreep agreed

  • reminds me of early fatih no more

  • @AsurorusA I assume you mean early Mike Patton era Faith No More (since Chuck Mosley was the previous singer and didn't sound like Luke), but it's funny you say that because I always thought the first Animal Bag album kind of sounded like Real Thing era Faith No More mixed with Facelift era Alice In Chains, with some stoner hippy shit thrown in for good measure.

  • That was good. Wish those days were still here maybe Boo would still be the man banging all the chicks.

  • kick'in song,

  • miss rich and boo it's like i've lost two brothers i'm sad

  • Just so everybody knows, I didn't remove my last comment because it was anything bad...I didn't think my first comment had gone through and then re-posted something very similar, only to realize my first comment had gone through after all. So I removed the second one so as to not sound redundant. Thanks!

  • @ctipple1981 thanks for clearing that up

  • So, im 16, and really into this show, "My so called life", where i heard this! and im soooo happy i did! this band and song are amazing! kudos~

  • @3rockergirl333 can someone get some other song from this album on here? any song will do because every song on this album is freaking amazing. One of the few albums without a bad or even average song. This album is amazing!

  • @stimpp I would love to see Hello Cosmo on here!

  • @3rockergirl333 i love that show as well...lol...i think i may be the only person who went and bought the dvd of the one and only season the show had...lol but yeah I really like this song too!

  • @Punkstriss Oh, im with you! I bought it too!

  • i know luke edwards still to this day he is a great person he was in a band called tater for a while 10 years to be exact but he has a band now they are called travelin circus he was good back then and still rips to this day

  • I've been on a big kick with these guys for the first time in like, ten years (because I only owned their first two albums on tape from way back when, but recently found all three albums online), and just found out today about Rich Parris passing away. That sucks so bad, but I'm glad to see others here have posted here about it. Animal Bag really was pretty fucking awesome.

  • Amazing underrated band... Rich Parris was an amazing songwriter, singer, guitarist, & friend... He is amongst the stars in the sky now... Shine on my friend.

  • cant understand who wouldnt listen to this and not think this was amazing! i love this band and rich R.R.I.P.

  • Such a sad time for Animal Bag fans. RIP Rich. Your talent will be missed.

  • Ive been jamming to these guys all day! Hello Cosmo...Mirrored Shades..Personal Demons-so many great tunes. Used to see them live all the time back in the day...still have the bumper sticker on my ratted out guitar case! RIP Rich...

  • R.I.P. Richie...will miss you.

  • Mors Janva Vitae.....

  • Rest In Peace Rich Parris, You are a True friend!

  • Too bad more people don't know about Animal Bag...I always thought they had a pretty unique sound. Kind of like heavy metal for hippies. Their unreleased third album (Image Damage) was pretty damn good as well.

  • i found the cd last year in a used bin!!!...yay!

  • y dnt more ppl kno abt animal bag?? my dad knew them back in the day :)

  • Met Otis not too long ago...what a nice guy!

  • Awesome vid. I love to listen Luke who is now in the band "Tater" from Shelby, NC. ...Awesome !!! ^ l l { N

  • will do

  • I am from Charlotte NC ( where they came from) and by far they ruled while they were there. Boo was one of the nicest, most genuine people you could have ever wanted to meet.. rest in peace Boo.

  • PERFECT

  • Omg.....I saw these guys at the Marquee in Cali.....before this video. We knew they were special...just a fantastic show! Great bunch of guys! :)

  • The 3rd Album is really the best. too bad it never got released. I worked with Paragon and we hated that these guys got the deal we wanted so bad.

Looking back, they deserved it. We did not.

    Rock on String Theroy

  • dude i know luke personally... he's real cool

  • bone club were way better.

  • Its funny how everyone always 'blames" Nirvana for another band not making it over the hump... Give me a break.. The industry is a crap shoot. Even funnier is how AFTER Nirvana 'hit the big time', all bands changed to fit this new model known as "Grunge". Animal Bag did it. Don't get me wrong, I like AB but they did change after the whole Seattle scene became the rage. They were good but just a little to late. Again, its the industry.. Total crap shoot.

  • damn lukes the man

  • This is good.

  • God, knowing Luke now and seeing him with dreadlocks is kinda weird. Good music though

  • he doesn't look THAT much different.

  • has anyone here seen my good friend tom?

  • i remember this band being on the show my so called life it was hard as hell to find the whole song but worth it.

  • One of the best albums I've ever heard. There is not one bad tune on it. They all rock!

  • need the whole album posted

  • Great F***ING band, great song!

  • If it werent for asswipes like "Nirvana" & all those other pussy bands then AB would've hit the big time & beyond.Fucking record companies! The way they lead people around by their assholes is understandable.People let them tell them what to listen to.

  • go luke

they are sooo good... i no luke personally

  • what a great fckin tune!

  • what a great fckin tune!

  • Whatever happened to these guys? One excellent album, an excellent EP, then they just disappeared.

  • you ask what happend to to these's guys well long story, luke is a good bro of mine thay moreless got fucked by merc rec,

the brummer boo passed away r.i.p.

luke has a new band called tater thay are bad ass! but thay well never be a an,,,,bag! now its just hi test hibilly tater

  • Caught them at Mesker in E'ville '93.Too bad the Seattle bullshit got so overdone & throttle rockers like these dudes became rare.

  • dude ! love the bass

  • The album version of this song has a much longer bass intro. Love this bass groove.

  • i fully smoked out with these stinky hippies at hempfest in pensacola years ago!!!

  • thank you soulshit for puting this on

i ve searched all around for this video

and thanks to you i finally found it

    i love that song!!!

  • great tune

I never heard anything else from this band

  • .. in the late 90's, otis & i did a lil side project that had keith inman & myself on gtr, otis on bass, aaron willis vox'ing & tim lail on drumz. recorded some tracks but only one made it to mix. the track is called "P.I.N." & i'm trying to get it mastered, but, might just let it roll 'as is' , but, it should be @ my ytube & mspace pages soon for downloading soon for anyone whom might be interested in that.

    ~ peace ☺

  • what's up rich! it's sean

  • heya, this is franke, but, i should be talkin to rich in a few daze, i'll pass on the note

  • this vid came out great.

hey rich,.... for the love of god, get an internet connection!!! lol.

    cya L8r

  • Wish they had a video for Oddball. That is my favorite Animal Bag song. Too bad that their appearance on My So-Called Lifedid not make them huge. :(

  • ha ha ha i know luke, he lives here in shelby nc. plays for a band called tater now. its all acoustic tho. but their guitarist, roger is badass!

  • This never gets old! I love it.

    Cathie

  • They are still touring, check out tater for their schedule. Their best song was HELLO COSMO. What a crystal clear voice Luke has! They have not faded, they are touring all over the place.

  • LOVE this song!

  • Lead singer is now in a bluegrass band called "Tater". If you don't believe me do a search for "Tater" shelby, nc

  • i've seen them play live. my friend is big into them.

  • whatever happened to these guys they were good!

  • I've met Rich a couple times... he's cool as hell! Too bad they aren't still together!

  • Gosh these guys are good. I wish they where still touring. Not the same without Boo. R.I.P Boo

  • These boys rocked. Too bad they faded away.
