  • why still the old style lights ?

  • whats a dpg?

  • Why is it red?

  • @TopTap09 They are a different colour to signify that they are part of the Met's DPG squad. As far as I know, red is just the colour they went with, and i'm glad they did.

  • @policeblue999 Do the general public realise this?

  • its not lowered suspension its probably weighed down with equipment in the boot, traffic patrols are the same

  • @s30tyc

They are lowered a little, for handling!

Its all part of BMW's emergency supply, BMW are the only manufacturer in the UK to offer purpose built Police cars

  • DUTCH SIREN?!?!

  • @brandweerman93 oke , leuk

  • I've never seen a red police car!

  • What with London being the land of the speedbumps, I can't see a lowered suspension being practical for police duties? Just me?

  • @daggertom1 Good point, they can't hop over kerbs or small central reservations either...

  • Great video. Fantastic car...looks so sick as it's low! What sirens are they though?

  • hooray for the Metropolitan Police

  • @HarrowonTVandRAFBP they regularly protect royals if extra officers are required.

  • what is DPG?

  • @peuterschmidt Diplomatic Protection Group

  • @sidwills Oh I see, thx

  • Ooooooooh very close to the kerb.

  • accelerated nice tho

  • very nice one! The Bavarian State Police uses BMW 5 series (Touring) just for Traffic police

  • indeed, sounds like dutch police siren. love it.

  • @lonelykatana Well, Not a child I know that for a fact.

    You're a douche I know that for a fact.

  • the car is so low because every night they go dogging around london

  • Comment removed

  • Either there's a lot of shit in that trunk, or his suspension's shot...

  • nice rims

  • @ Angerfist, yep its a Politie siren from NL.

  • so what exactly is dpg then ?

  • @tomthekeeper Diplomatic Protection Group........they protect VIPs and politicians/royals........but also when not doing these duties respond to normal emergencies....they are armed.

  • dutch police siren

  • That is lovely!!

  • Fantastic catch of one of the gunships! Love the DPG cars for some reason.

  • Nice car

  • niiiceee

  • great capture

pitty about the quailty but still a great vid keep em coming

  • These are like the "Trojans" Police cars Located in the game Getaway Black Monday, Featuring a Renult Laguna and citreon Paccasso Versions

  • they dont, thats down to SO1

  • you got it wrong, The royalty protection group provide protection to the queen, protection to the pm is provided by SO1, DPG provide external security to Downing street. the wiki u said does not mention the queen and only mentions that it provides external security to downing street. I think you should look at the met website itself which i just found, it will also back my argument up and is better than the wiki u provided.

  • SO1, SO15 or DPG or whatever...on the Metropolitan Website (which incidentally groups them all into Special Operations), all of the branches have a picture of a red police car at the top of the page. Therefore, the police car in the video could be any of these sub-branches...right?

  • i believe it tends to be only DPG that use the red ones.

  • not quite.......only the Diplomatic Protection Group use red vehicles.

  • Lovee how low this is :P

  • lol, dutch siren

  • That wasn't "just" the Diplomatic Protection Group car on a call THAT was a DPG Gunship!

(all officers are armed in DPG, but that unit is the same as regular version ARV fully loaded with 3-4 officers and their MP5s)

    Mmmmmmm MP5

  • @ThePaulius don't forget Glocks

  • fantastic!

  • that is so nice that car are dpg officers alowd to respond to beat officer calls or do traffic stops

  • yes, they are still Police officers, but with different tasks and priorities. just like a dog van can stick you on for speeding ;o)

  • @scally1288 yes DPG officers can respond to other duties such as emergency calls and carry out stops

  • great video love the car

  • lovely video, sexy car, so low!

  • @policeblue999 welcome to England :D

  • good old DPG...

nice video, how do you film this and keep the camera so steady?

  • well not everyone are amatures. :D

  • if i would see something like this aqure, id be so pumped with excitement ill almost drop the camera outta my hands.. lol

  • Better than me, i manage to hold it still but i get so nervous and rush myself and press the record buttin twice= stop the video =(

  • @willz87child what does DPG mean? :)

  • @soldier312 diplomatic protection group, they are armed officers charged with looking after diplomatic and consular premises within the Met district, they are also planning to cover Woolwich Crown Court when the terrorist prisoners are called to trial.

  • @soldier312 Diplomatic Protection Group. :)

  • @willz87child It's called a Tri-Pod........Dick

  • @gangstarsonny Snap man, what's your problem? That was way out of line. So he didn't know he had a tripod. He's automatically a useless whore is he? You clearly have social problems.

  • Great video, nice car!
