  • share these videos as much as you can. The prison industry is out of control, out tax dollars are supporting this flawed system.. Lets get our moneys worth for our tax dollars. The system needs an overhaul.

  • I don't think ANY amount of money can make up for what he and others have been through. Not only did he lose a great deal of his life behind bars, but just imagine the emotional and psychological toll it takes on you to have people accuse you, judge you, and deny you when you know you've done nothing wrong. It's sickening.

  • Good thing that the man is finaly free, and I hope that they will pay him the 18 mil. dollar coz he deserve it, they took half of his life, I hope that you have a better life now and that you can enjoy the 18 mil.

  • So the real rapist etc. hasn´t prosecuted and in the worse case he has been scot free 22 years!!! This is the reason why every part of law has to make an effort and not to make the heisty conclutions. I ´ve been raped 1997 so I can see the both sides. In Finland´s sexual crime law is from stone age. Hoping quick changes. Also II hope that Alan will find forgiveness of this terrible mistake as I ´ve to my past.

  • That is just crazy. Really makes you wonder how many innocent people are locked away still. And also very scary because it makes you wonder, what if it happened to you. Because it very well could.

  • I remember during the 50s & segregation that I couldn't tell one black from another because I had never been in their midst. Yet with the desegregation of education and my teaching black kids I could tell and see each one as an individual.MORAL: Eyewitnesses to different ethnic groups of little or no socializing cannot distinguish with any certainty who their attackers were, esp in the case of rape which has to be a bighly charged hysterical experience.

  • God Bless this man right here because I don't know how he's not bitter and angry and furious like I am!

  • Interesting and sad story, but I'm glad youre getting what you deserved from those who took 22 years of your life away.

  • Every person falsely convicted should be compensated to this degree, with funds coming directly out of the county's involves fiscal budget. There is far, far too much wrongful convictions, certainly of Black men in this country. To get them to do the right thing you have to hit their pocket books.

  • good luck sure. These people just putting innocent people in jail ass holes

  • UNBELIEVABLE!! this beautiful, intelligent man was ROBBED of half his life due to eyewitness misidentification and ..supposedly ..lost evidence!! if what I BELIEVE is right then he has a world of good fortune coming to hi in more ways than one.

  • speaking as his sister i hope some of these young guys watch all the men who the innocence freed and stop going to jail for stupid nonsense

  • Alan you are my brother and my hero

  • to a better future
