The teachings of this church is generally very good. The very sad, greatly disappointing and hurting thing is when you saw there are few very subtle tactics and manipulations the sr pastor uses that majority do not see it. Perhaps, this is life, most church leaders (not all) are more of less like that. Teach a lot of good, but the lies are very subtle, that you almost can't notice.
To save your later years, leaving the church is the safest move.
Why? Unlike before, the public, especially the authorities are now eyeing on the church never like before. Unlike before, the senior pastor has now declared he is just a volunteer, not a signatory, takes not a board director,etc. What a godly timing to all these right after the authority published his half a million annual income in the papers. So, if you are Joshua, you better get out before your head get chopped...how subtle!
Although baffled by the decision, as Pastor Prince believes that the pastoral calling of God is meant to be a life-long call, he accepts Joshua’s resignation.
Joshua and his family will continue to attend New Creation Church and actively participate in church life as lay Christians.
We wish him and his family every success in this new phase of his life.
The following are the key points shared concerning Pastor Joshua’s resignation in a recent leaders’ meeting: 1. This resignation is a personal decision made by Pastor Joshua;
A few months ago, Pastor Joshua Lee approached Pastor Joseph Prince and the leadership concerning his growing desire to embark on a business venture in the area of interior decoration. He shared that this desire was accompanied by a decreasing passion for things pertaining to his pastoral duties. He was advised to seriously think through this important decision of leaving his role as a pastor.
