  • Hmmm, well I've just got the Druidcraft, and the card stock is a bit flimsy, to be honest. The Oracle of the Dragonfae, and Quester - Journey of the Brave Tarot have far better card stocks. That said, I love the Druidcraft Tarot to bits, and it rates up there with the Robin Wood & Tarot of the Old Path decks that I also have. As for the Wildwood, I have it on order, and LOVE what I've seen of the images, and personally, I LOVE the animals. Check out the Druid Animal Oracle; same artist! xx

  • Im not sure WHEN you purchased your Druidcraft (I can see you trimmed it tho) but my Druidcraft cards are nasty CHEAP cardstock! I adore the deck, detest the cardstock..! I think the WIldWood cardstock sucks just as bad tho....as far as too many animals, well that has to do with the spirituality that the deck is about...I can see if you're not of that mind, and just like Tarot....but the animals do have a profound reason for being there....quite amazing if you're of the religion/spirituality.

  • Good review Dude.

The over-use of animals is annoying.

The deck is a re-make of the Greenwood (which you probably know).

Agreed, the Druidcraft is much better, in every way.

Worthington could have done something much better than this.

  • Tarotoracle! Have you seen the 'Infinite Visions Tarot', by Gloria Jean? Found it on Infinite Vision tarot.com, Appears she makes htese out of her home, and they are very pricey...But the artwork and imagery are phenonmenal....Would love that deck! Perhaps you can do a review on it sometime...Blessings, Michele Braun:)

  • Thank you so much for the review,,,i was thinking of buying it but as i got the Druidcraft tarot im not interested in any more...thanks :)

  • I don't care for the cardstock of the Wildwood tarot. It's like cereal cardboard. I doubt it would hold up well to long term use. The only redeeming feature of the deck, in my opinion, are the presence of the animals - though I don't agree with their placement within the deck. The rest is sort of hit-or-miss when it comes to tarot...the made up majors, all that - I don't know. It just doesn't thrill me. I tried to read with it, and since the first week, I haven't touched it.

  • @Bhav341 It's a remake of a deck that came out in 1996, called the Greenwood Tarot, which is now a collector's item apparently fetching £250 per deck.
