For the +3 Aim Datacron you do NOT need to go through a imperial outpost.

North of the imperial outpost Zaroshe around X -715 , Y 483 Theres a tunnel that leads into that area called the Bantha's Drift Tunnel.

For the last two datacrons you don't have to take the balloon ride if you can bring a few friends. I play and Empire Sith Assassin and the first time I did this I rode to balloon all the way there just to have it de-spawn when I was in view of the sandcrawler. Luckily for me there happened to be two level 50 Republic toons trying to get it as well. I'm on a PvE server so I was safe. What they did was have the commando use his knock-back as you ride your speeder toward him and the sandcrawler

You have to Duel each other for this to work. As you ride toward him you jump over the player with the knock-back and then he will use it to knock you up onto the sandcrawler so you can get the datacrons. Now if you want everyone in your group to be able to get the datacrons you'll need someone with a knock-back ability and someone with some sort of pull ability. The Sith Assassin in Tank spec gets a Force Pull at level 30. So once he is up he can Pull everyone else up in turn.

Hey iLLituracyT, for the Aim datacron you don't need to go through any imp base. On the sand dunes map, there is a sandpeople camp just north of the imp outpost, a cave there leads to mos anek without worry of dying many times plowing through an imp base. In case you still don't know about this.

you dont have to get on the ballon to get on top of the sandcrawler.. no more waiting for 30mins.. there is a small ledge on the side of the sandcrawler, the side opposite the str datacron where you can walk to the top of the sandcrawler.. you may be able to get the 2 datacrons using this technique.. ive seen it done, because my friend missed his jump and we found a way for him to climb on top. he got both datacrons and was happy in the end. sorry for those who had to repeat it over and over.

YOU DON'T NEED TO WAIT ON THE BALLOON FOR THE LAST DATACRONS ---> READ HERE: bring a friend with you that is a jedi knight or a sith warrior. then duel with him, position yourself right under the ruined sandcrawler and when you jump make him force push you, you will land on the sandcrawler and he will be able to force leap to you. also, if you're a sage or inquisitor like me and there are even more friends you wanna help, when you're up just cast rescue on them. it's as simple as that :D

For those going for the +aim one: if you do not want to suicide run through the imperial base, you can run through "outlaws den" the FFA area that is just north of the area where the datacron is, anyone can kill you there but it will be a PVP death so no durability when you die.

a fue things you dont need to wait for the ballon if u have a jedi mate with force push what i did was got my mate he was a trooper i am a jedi guardian anyway went to the spot were the 2 datacrons were and i challenged him to a duel then i had him stand there and keep jumping i would time it and force push him mid jump and he landed on top of the ship then i just force leaped on him easy :D

I soloed the willpower one with little problems at level 28. Also using duel and then force pushing somone you can avoid geting on that baloon and waiting 30 min but your jump followed by force push has to be timed really well. Once somone is up there Jedi Knights can force jump up and if a Jedi Knight is up there they can pull people up.

On my Krayt Dragon server, I took the balloon and chatted with a couple Imperials about how we liked our classes, how lazy our companions were, etc.

Pretty funny looking back now, because I'm sure on PVP servers each ride is either us or them.

I imagine as a rite of initiation, PVP guild members have to guard datacrons like these.

Hey guys, idk if you guys still track this but for the 3 datacron, where you go through the imp camp, you can avoid most of it by going left and following the path up. From there (on your mount) hop along the edges (you'll be on the cliffs way up) until you are around the camp, then ease down. Unarmored I took 300 damage, then took 2 steps and died to imp guards. Only death there as I was now past the camp.

Something I just tested that does work, let's any class get to the top of the Sandcrawler! You do need a Vanguard, and he needs to either take the balloon, or get knocked up there. While you are on the sandcrawler, you are near enough to the ground to challenge people to duels. The Vanguard can then challenge someone and use Harpoon to drag them up to the sandcrawler. Also handy for your friends who are going for that second datacron and go over the edge! Enjoy!

What they don't help with though is just how damn fiddly and pixel perfect precision some of the jumps are. The jump you missed in the first Datacron on Tatooine here for example is giving me masses of trouble, I keep dropping down to the lower ledge.

Maybe its just a lot harder to time key presses correctly on a keyboard than via a controller, A hint of W first, then spacebar, or spacebar at the same time as W, ....driving me nuts it is..! Well done :)

Btw, for anyone interested, it is possible to bypass most of Mos Amos when going for the Aim datacron. If you go through the exchange enemies to the South of the town, up a hill, it will lead you to an area overlooking Mos Amos. You can climb the boulders and walk right along the edge of the town, until you reach the wall right by the Taxi. You'll have to jump down there and most likely be killed by Imperials guarding the Taxi, but I only died once doing this method.

@DystopiaSticker Alternatively you can go through the Outlaw's Canyon. It's a pvp area and gonna get you flagged if you're playing on a pve server but you'll still get through without any npc confrontations.

I play a Bounty Hunter and i took the baloon ride with a Jedi Guardian. At the end of the ride the baloon despawned on us. However we managed to get up by having the Jedi Guardian Force Knocking me up while i was jumping up and down, then then leaped up to me. Probably works with duels too if you have classes with knocback :)

@ferostil Duels indeed work. I dueled with an agent who knocked me up there. You can also forcepull people once you get up there. Timing the knockback right takes a bit of time but it's surely faster than taking the balloon ride. In case you miss the jump to the second datacron (Str) you can get knockbacked to that small ledge.

There is a Datacron in Anchorhead for the Republic, but since the Empire can't go there, they have one in their starting town on Tatooine. I'll eventually have to level an Imperial character in order to cover these Datacrons, but until then, I'll rename these videos so that they explain that they're for Republic.

@thehudkins We're both speaking over TeamSpeak 3, and Fraps likes to record my voice and every time I scratch the stubble on my chin. By turning his volume up to ~20 dB, you can hear him even louder than me, so I'm working on finding the sweet spot for everyone, so they all can talk in my videos and actually be heard.

@iLLituracyT If fraps is recording, try changing the sound capture settings. Personally, I record audio as a separate track and add it to the video after it's rendered. If you guys are recording from a live stream, you could always have TS3 record the audio and sync it later. Not that it really is a huge issue, since your vids seem to be fine as is.

@thehudkins I've tweaked all the settings on my computer, and we've tried recording with just TeamSpeak, but the problem with that is that it cuts out all the in-game sound, which isn't /too/ important, but it can be hindering at times to not have it. The way it's all set up now, however, we've got all the sound working and everything is just stellar.
