  • You say you love your friends, but I'm wondering how did you meet them and how do you understand them and they understand you if you don't talk much Korean?

  • @poppinpussies you won't believe it, but there are also plenty of korean who speak english pretty well...so do I. Especially when you work in a hotel you meet a lot of people who do :)

  • @OurWayToWonderland So, you were in Korean just visiting?

  • @poppinpussies and also, it was never difficult for me to just go straight forward, starting conversations. when you are a foreigner in korea, its pretty easy to meet many different people. since you are always an object of interest :)

  • Comment removed

  • @scapoedd i think a comment like here is unnecessary. There are plenty of cool french and a big mass of koreans who dont speak english! there is an increasing mass who does indeed. There are many cool coreans and some who aren't like in every country. There starts racism so dont do that :)

  • @OurWayToWonderland ooh ic yeah your right :) are you staying in seoul ?

    i love Korea too)

  • can i cum and visit you next time i am in germany?

  • Fighting = Fight over yourself !

    Fighting!

    :D

  • Korean and other Asian are more well manner than most European.

  • @ryukos I am sorry but i dont think thats true...we are just polite in different ways. I was working in a hotel with many many asian guests and I have experienced some true impoliteness from some of them. There are impolite people everywhere. Neither you or me can stereotype it

  • @OurWayToWonderland Totally agree. Come to London or Manchester and you will see what I meant. :)

  • @ryukos haha I know EXACTLY what you mean by that^^ but here same. different culture, different politeness....but britain isnt whole europe. but itss maybe one of the better examples forr europe being not as... strict as most asian countries :)

  • I am Korean and great job on talking about it. It is definitely a fascinating place, and if you go there, you will see why a country like country (others similar too) is not in financial trouble. They all go and work hard.. beyond what we consider 'busy'.

  • 한국 남자인 나도 당신이 좋아 진다 ㅋㅋ

  • Hi Johanna~!!! I agree to all of your lists! :D You should definately go to the pretty cafe's if you haven't yet. The one I went to was called can more/ 캔 모아?- I think that's what it was. And some places you might want to experience: jjim jil bang (Korean sauna), Busan beach (Order and have jja jang myeon delivered to you), and Caribean Bay. Some of them I haven't gone to but will ;D

  • you're really sweet! i'm a chinese guy and I LOVE the korean culture! I'm planning to visit korea in 2012 (after I learn some basic/intermediate korean). I totally agree on the way they speak, its almost romantic the way it sounds, i love it :)

  • You have the cutest style. What do you do in Korea and are you still there?

  • @Gobbledychink haha u gotta kiddin man^^ i am 100% german :p ....and austrian which is practically the same :p and also not all germans are blonde, blue eyed and...fat. k? noooot at all...despite of that I am always just shoin the skinny part in the vids :p

  • @OurWayToWonderland that guy who said "that girl is way too thin to be 100% german" is a troll. you can tell by his channel comments that he's just putting bad comments everywhere getting people mad.

  • I went to Italy once and the people kept staring at us (a group of Koreans) everywhere we went. At this Korean restaurant, on the outside wall someone spray painted "Fuck Koreans". Another incident, we were waiting outside of a patio, and my friend (who is a girl) was tired so she sat down on one of the chairs on the patio, and then the owner came running out and yelled and swore at her and to go away. At airport, I was waiting in line and this lady just cut in front of me.

  • @BLUDDYknucklez When I visited the Seoul night wholesales to help my friend at work, one of the salesmen cursed at her in Korean, if "her" people wouldnt be enough for her anymore and why she had to hang out with a foreigner. That would be dishonorable. When I stood in the subway, 2 old men were talking really bad about me and used racistic expressions thinking I wouldnt understand them. I was told by korean before that I am nice and europe is ok and so

  • ... but that in general people from other cultures are not as much worth as koreans... I could name more things. The fact that someone cut in front of you, you can't interpret as an racistical action. Europe and Asia have different views abd different kinds on politeness and sth like this happens all the time, no matter if you are european or an immigrant.

  • Korean people can be REALLY rude too but in a more subtile way. There are idiots everywhere. Just because a handful koreans treated me bad, I would never blame the whole nation and so shouldn't you.

  • @OurWayToWonderland Well the lineup was huge, and I was the only non-White person in that lineup. And then she had the nerve to look back at me with an evil glare as if I did something wrong to her! In any case, I agree with you that every nation has their share of good and bad people, but I think it is true, as they say, that East Asian people are generally more polite, respectful, and hospitable. And even White people joke about how Europeans can be very rude. But of course not all Europeans!

  • @OurWayToWonderland My parents went to France and they said the majority of the people were very standoffish and snappy to them, and my parents are the most respectful and well-mannered people you could ever meet!

However, when I went to Germany, I had no problems with anybody. The people there were much more refined than the Italians. I have a lot of respect for Germany and Germans, who were after all, allies with Japan during World War 2.

  • Oh wait, so was Italy lol. But then again, Italians are not a pure race like the Germans are.

  • @BLUDDYknucklez oO some stuff you are writing here is just so incorrect. pure race what? do you know how many tons of foreigners live in germany? France people are snappy to nearly everyone... thats cultural difference. How about being a bit more open? why do you go to a foreign culture if you want people to act like yours?

  • @OurWayToWonderland well i grew up in america, where everybody cares so much about race.. maybe thats why im more cynical and xenophobic... i apologize. I don`t want to corrupt your open-mindedness to other cultures. Keep doing what you`re doing, and I hope you don`t change cuz u r a pretty cool and unique girl

  • @BLUDDYknucklez How do you think I was able to survive in Korea, where people are much less open and familiar with foreigners? I'm gonna make a video about that and when someone really treated you bad, I am sorry, but please dont generalize like you do. Also i dont understand why you bring in this ww2nd Japan thing... doesnt really matter for me at this point.

  • @OurWayToWonderland Only if people (<--myself included here) were open-minded and warm-hearted like you... Hope you continue to keep such beatiful mind, and NOT TO get carried away by mistreatments of handful idiots wherever you go. Thanks for giving me a wonderful lesson. Good luck!

  • I wanna visit south Korea soon.

  • I enjoyed watching your video you deem very knowledgable and beautiful too!
