btw, this isn't a great alternate, but if you grapple something it refills your rocket boots "fuel" so you can jet up again. useful for climbing onto floating islands.

@MrEseltryne The rocket boots using mana thing was an old update. Now, rocket boots allow flight for a one-second duration, but no longer require mana.

@Dan55888 jungle armour is mainly used for mana and spells of the dangerous variety, money is really easy to come to, I mean, I have 12 platinum before WoF and it was easy.

@marthpwner "money is easy to come by" explains nothing it seems purely based on the person playing because it certainly just dosn't just fly into my wallet in my game. I wouldn't say I'm broke but I have never gotten a platinum coin before. Nuclear physics is easy too when you know it but dosn't mean everybody just picks it up naturally.

Best way imo to find floating islands (without world map obviously) is to use the gravity potion and you can fly up and down for relatively long time..

@SweeTgaMerz1 You only need to be on Hard Mode to summon the Destroyer, the Twins, and Skeletron Prime. The others are able to be summoned any old time. To get the Eye of Cthulu, you need a Suspicious Looking Eyeball, to get Eater of Worlds, you need to smash Shadow Orbs or use Rotten Chunks over the Corruption, to get Skeletron you need to talk to the Old Man outside the Dungeon, and to get the King Slime, you need to be lucky. More info is on Terraria Wiki, though.

@MorganOfTheAncients You have mistakes. 1-) You don't use rotten chunks to get Eater of Worlds,you use worm food which is crafted at a demon altar. 2-) You don't have to be lucky to get the king slime. You can craft a crown and combine it with 99 gels at a crafting bench then you can summon him.

@punctuationgamer636 It was before they made the rocket boots with timers. Before that you used mana to fly with the rocket boots so if you had mana potions you could practically fly forever.

@SuperDillonator If you go left on your map there should be a old man if you talk to him at night he becomes a skeletron when you killed him you can enter the dungeon thats under the building there are golden keys and when you have them you can open locked chests :D
