This is a Great Performance. She is a great pianist and completely underrated. One of the first classical CDs I bought was a double CD of "Chopin Greatest Hits" on the REFERENCE GOLD by intersound label (an unknown label). She performs Chopin's piano concertos. Believe it or not, I prefer her performances to those on the PHILIPS label by Claudio Arrau.

What a wonderful musician/pianist!!

According to my Alumni Directory, she and I attended college together, about 50 years ago, but I can't remember if we actually knew each other.

Probably not. Too bad, for me. :-)

Notice Liszt's use of the orchestra as he highlights various instruments constantly with material that fits perfectly for their invidual characteristics.
