The Hills is a staged reality show aka the producers make them say or do certain things for drama and for people to want to watch. She left because when heidi and spencer became fame whore ans exposed the hills for being fake, lauren knew the jig was up and she would get a bad rep. Shes smart for leaving it cuz no one wants to watch a Fake reality show with no "Reality". Plus kristine has said soo much times the show is fake sorry for those who still watch that crap.
