@joWerther i would say not as well known globally as perhaps they could have been, but certainly not unknown, they have just completed a world tour where every single venue was sold out, and they were all major venues. Do not forgot however, that they did split up for quite a few years in the 90's, and people and music move on, especially in this day and age of here today, gone tomorrow consumerism, which just didn't exist when bands like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones were in their prime.

It´s so good to know that so many of us have enjoyed so many amazing songs from these guys. I´ll truly miss new music, but we´ll all carry the songs with us and pass them on to the next generation. I´ve personally had ( and still have) 25 years of pleasure and feeling from their music. Sadly I never got to see them play live...nevertheless, amazing musicians.
