It's a great budget Ring Flash, But you need to mod it for it to work at its best. Use some Tin foil and it'll bring back about 2 stops, seriously. The O-Flash at work, m(dot)cmcdn(dot)net/11946585/940x624(dot)jpeg (50mm on D90, Nissin Di622 @ 5m away Shaded area).
@Julesdoille I don't think it's bad at all, but again you can improve it considerably with $.10 of tin foil in place of the cardboard. It wastes a lot of light with no reflector.
More common sense than the orbis. The orbis is so awkward.

If you remove the cardboard with the O-flash name on it, and replace it with tin foil, you can sut the light loss of the flash significantly.
