It's a bar on Lewer's St in Waikiki. I used to work on Waikiki beach and saw EV a few times with his wife (I think) and his daughter. He used to rent longboards from the company I worked for. The bar is Kelly O'Neils and is a mix between tourists, military and people who work in the industry. Great late night spot (4 AM license) to go and watch drunken craziness. The last place I imagined that EV would show up.....probably close to his hotel. Good live music though.

Always gracious and a heck of a surfer...As far as your question "Why was Ed there"...he probably met someone in the water who told him to come check out his band...seems like the kind of guy who would show up when asked. you know, for the music! Great stuff....wish I was there.
