Actually, I do like the fourth Indiana Jones film quite a bit because it was fun seeing him "older," much like seeing the original Star Trek crew being older. Though I do prefer the Indy films to be more grounded in biblical myths. Perhaps they could opt for adapting one of the Indy books by Max McCoy who did a really good job of researching.

Huuu! is right. I'm a big fan of the first 3 films. As far as I'm conserned, Indy 4 is Harrison's "Never Say Never Again". You know, the Connary /Speilberg Bond flick attempt. The one that should never be mentioned! So much so that it's not even part of the bond Movies box sets. Its a Shame that Lucas didn't have the good taste to do the same with Indy 4! To tell the truth, I went to see Indy 4 at the flicks and came away feeling that I had been robbed. I still feel my self cringing!

The aliens didn't ruin the movie. The way the movie played out ruined the movie. I't lacked that realistic quality to it. Way too much CGI! I felt like I was watching the mummy returns with harrison ford instead of Brandon Fraiser.

I actually guessed IJ4 was going to have a son in it and also be about a UFO because of the time period it would now be in (1957). Once I saw the film, which was better than I expected, I thought it could've been an opportunity for Lucas to continue on the Indiana Jones franchise and use the son in a future trilogy. Then I saw the actor that played Indy's son, and it ruined that idea.

I'm very optimistic. I really liked Crystal Skull. I thought it was a wonderful addition to the series; it fell right in line with the B movie aesthetic established by the franchise. Fun as hell and so good to see the hero back in the fedora. Judging by the 80% approval rating on the Tomatometer, I seem to be speaking for the majority of those who watched it. As long as Spielberg directs, I'll follow these guys down any cobwebby corridor they deem fit to film!

You Know guys, the only way they can continue the franchise in my opinion is replace Harrison Ford. I know the thought is unthinkable but Sean Connery was replaced and James Bond moved on. It is a shame they did not make more movies years ago. Some thoughts about replacement actors. It would have to be a star. Someone with charisma and someone willing to do more then one film.

Well,France is a good place for sight seeing but I don't think there is many lost artifacts or anything that indy can go searching for. After all,Indy only goes to certain places in the world to look for lost treasures,artifacts,etc. but I think your Idea is ok.

Steven did make it for the fans - I think George wants to please them but he rather please himself first. Either way, I enjoyed Crystal Skull more than Last Crusade, though I have made a lot of enemies for that comment. I hav a great idea for indy 5! Indy could go to egypt and search for the lost treasure of king tut or some other phaoraoh of egypt. who likes my idea?

I never knew lucas thought of that. That idea sounds ok. But what would indy be looking for with that ghengis khan idea? Indiana Jones likes to look for lost idols and treasures, what kind of idols or treasures envolving ghengis khan would indy be lookin for? plz reply back!

okok - i think you can find it on the net - lucas mentioned that he imagined a huge war at the end as a climax for harrisson fords character to come to a close - it will show visibly how mutt jones will take over if they bother to create a new story ark for him - its about the history of ghenghis khan and his most powerfull army in the world, and its a certain item that is involved - typical indy - most notably indy 1 - ill tell you more if you want to hear it ^_^

Well,France is a good place for sight seeing but I don't think there is many lost artifacts or anything that indy can go searching for. After all,Indy only goes to certain places in the world to look for lost treasures,artifacts,etc. but I think your Idea is ok.

is the mutt williams character that bad? sorry, but harrison ford is pushing 70. i'm 36 years old & saw all 4 in the theaters like allot of the die-hard fans but we all know george is a dick and he's gonna do whatever he wants with the series. was crystal skull that bad? shit, i thought it was a blast. better then that god awful tomb raider crap. i plan on being first on line if he makes a 5th indy. sounds like i'll have the theater all 2 myself. awesome !! LOL

I'd have prefered to have seen Sean Connery again. I was confused by one thing though... In last crusade, Dr. Jones senior drinks from the holy grail, so he should have everlasting life, no? So why is he dead in Indy 4?

Ya, I watched it again, and he says the price to pay for everlasting life is to not bring the grail past the knight's emblem. I still think he should have remained alive in Indy 5... Connery was awesome!

Steven did make it for the fans - I think George wants to please them but he rather please himself first. Either way, I enjoyed Crystal Skull more than Last Crusade, though I have made a lot of enemies for that comment. I will make many more for not only supporting Indy 5 but writing my own script as well.
