Hey "dick head" why should I kill someone? I'm not mad.. road was DESERT.... as you can see.. However there have been mhh 6-7yrs from this vid, i've had a '98 r1, now I have a KTM 950 Supermoto R. I stll go on public roads, sometimes on track, and I never killed anyone...

Hey mate, i recently lost the rear going round a corner, giving it the beans on my rs 125, any tips on why this happened? I was;

-hanging off the bike nice and comfortably, everything was smooth.

-lean angle wasn't so great, wasn't even kd yet.

-was already through the power, about 40-45mph at the very top of the revs in 2nd gear when it went, so it wasn't like it just got a huge surge of power from somewhere.

-Gotta admit, when i felt the rear tyre, left hand side felt kinda cold. it was sunny.

@artemouse2007. Sounds like you were at the top of the rev range. The suspension and the tyre is loaded with kinetic energy regardless of the `angle of dangle`. Surface, tyre, your movement all play a part and BOOM you re on your arse. In my case 9months in plaster and physiotherapy ;-)

so why did you crash actually ?

i'm asking this because i'm a noob at motorcycling, i don't even own a bike and currently i'm in the documentation period before deciding between a cbr125 and an rs... to cut a long story short, it is said that the cbr's thinner tyres are better at cornering than the wide ones on an rs.

so was it the fault of the tyres or did you make a piloting mistake? 60kmh doesn't seem like much

cbr125 vs rs125 there is no comparison, they are totally different.

The mistake was: bad and not hot tyres.

The market is FULL of very good tyres for the rs125, on the other hand the "not-standard" size of cbr's ones could be a problem when searching for good tyres.
