Omega Supreme and the constructicons were friends, constructicons turned decepticon and destroyed crystal city... which was i guess the cool ass city... of cybertron... and ever since then omega supreme talked like incredible hulk and wanted revenge.

His duty was to guard Crystal City which was built by the Constructicons, whom at the time were Decepticons that did not follow Megatron or where involved in the war. They were reprogrammed by Megatron's robo-smasher and given the ability to become Devestator- the first combiner. They destroyed Crystal City and attacked Omega Supreme with the robosmasher. Omega destroyed the smasher and sought revenge on the Constructicons.
