The noise in the background is caused by fluctuating magnetic field which no human ear will pick up but a microphone, since it is a coil of the copper wire attached to a thin membrane floating around a magnet, will always get. So you see or maybe rather hear where the source of the power for rotation is. Sorry to destroy your hopes and hours of hard labor.

When the hand was used to stopped the two smaller magnets, the overall system had received extra energy from the hand. Hence the bigger rotor must turn faster for energy conservation. It is not over-unity unless the acceleration from the rotor (and the 3rd magnet) exceeds the energy required to stop the two smaller magnets from spinning.

Doppler compression of flux fields is an unproven hypothesis by some invisible 6 foot rabbit from what they tell me. Perhaps you can explain why the ball in the bowl speeds up in the opposite direction from a water driven tesla turbine magnetic coupling. Now thats not junk and certainly is no joke ;)

This video was done just for the sake of setting off discussions on free energy chat boards and blogs. It is an experiment in social engineering. We are a bunch of chatting hens.

That disk is really getting a good jolt of energy, most like from a 115 VAC source. Mark my words, it is a simple optically-triggered pulse motor, and a social experiment. It would be really cheap and easy to build.

That's probably the case. I was also thinking the trick is something under the table. That would explain why he picks up the device and sets it back down at the beginning of the clip for no apparent reason. Perhaps something had to be properly aligned. He also certainly didn't want to keep it in the air too long.

If you look closely when he picks it up while it's running and puts it back down, it is not in the same position. So i don't believe he is aligning it with anything.

Ha Ha Ha... another amateur con/prank.

The key is the silver tape at the end of the black strip on top of the disk. A photocell is aimed at the silver tape to pick up a reflection. The photocell triggers an electromagnet under the table to pulse. There is a single larger magnet under the disk to complete the 'motor circuit' with the electromagnet and the photocell.

When he picks up the disk it slows down because the photocell loses contact with the silver tape reflection.

The slowing down you mention could also be due to the opposing of the gyroscopic effect of 4 spinning wheels. However my ears do not pick up any change of speed.
