i find garland easier since up close he only uses Earthquake (easy to dodge) or a super strong melee combo which will break u and give him 9999 or close, then copy it. i just go with magic pot (auto) since it activates when u reach base brave after getting smashed up. by then he usually has 9999 off me anyway.
You can obtain the manual Magic Pot summon by going through Cloud's Destiny Odyssey a second time after you've beaten it.
You know those yellow spaces? Those yellow things disappear when you go through the Destiny Odyssey a second time, so you can get whatever is behind there. Most of the time, it's a manual summon.
Just remember to go to the psp home screen rather than choose an option in the post battle screen. That way you preserve any game plan exp bonuses you have.
Yeah, this is how I do it: Play with either hardcore or gring lover battle plan. When you get the 5x exp multiplier just equip who ever you want to level and fight a level 100 ExDeath. With all the good exp boosting stuff you should not have to fight him more than twice to get to level 100. And when you are done and the post battle menu shows up hit the home button and exit the game. When you go back in the character is still level 100 but the 5x exp multiplier is still in effect.
they dont have to be 9 for behavior because then they spam HP attacks
if you put it on 6/9 Cautious exdeath will start the fight with his projectile brv attack which you can let yourself get hit by to be broken so you can then copy his BRV later

It heps if you use Time Crush first, then HP attack him, then use EX finish for a little bonous XP...even though u didnt need the bonous =p

You can either use Free Air Dash, or Multi Air Slide. I prefer the latter because it's faster.
Either way, you have to be locked on to the core

how do you get magic pot on manual though??? mine is only showing as automatic and there is no way to switch it, is there??

So when your character gets up to Level 100, it saves the character data before the post-battle screen?
I didn't know that...
That would have made my power-leveling go a little bit faster...
