Im waiting for my activation key at the moment. I was at the screen with the neon light "L.A. Noire" and this music showd up. and i cant wait any longer for my key. Because i really love the setting the game. i love the atmosphere and the feeling
I walked around at night smoking cigarretes, almost naked only wearing my favorite tie, with oil all over my body while listening to this in my ipod. dont know why... just felt like it.
This game was awesome and I've really felt connected to Cole Phelps and had me entertained at all times. As much as i loved it i think that in no way this is better than red dead redemption, But at the same time they're quite different.
@GameCentreOrg Can you help me? I'm basically looking for the more melancholy version of this... It's a bit faster and usually came on when in the car with Rusty... Can't seem to find it...
@47TERRELL 2 things, the dislike button is like lady gaga's penis: it's small and shouldn't be there. Aaaaaand. Most people probably think "dislike" actually means.... "Nigga DIS SHIT I LIKE!!"
instruments melodizing each other in a symphony that speaks so many words with notes and mixtures of true music. the music spoke to me in its own language and i as a confused person who didnt understand a word, could realize the music was spilling its soul out to me. i had to ask myself who am i not to embrace it with my own soul. i spilled my soul to it and i could only look into musics true face. it was then that i realized i only heard but still saw so much. this was beautiful, thank you.
What's the name of the song that plays when you hover over the game on your PS3 menu? anyone know what i'm talking about? before you click X to play the game, it plays a nice piano tune.
I'm a stiffler about it because I can imagine putting nearly 10 years of my blood sweat and tears into a project only to have someone else get all the credit.
So, just so people are clear ; Rockstar DID NOT develop LA Noire. Team Bondi DID.
fantastic game i beat it a few days ago one of the best story games i have ever played great music too everyody who cares about 40s history would love this game i highly suggest it
The peope at Rockstar Games are such great video game developers. First with the GTA series, then Red Dead Redemption (deep story, really connected with John Marston) and now with L.A. Noire. Rockstar do know how to set musical pieces in tune with a game, GTA III had that nice K Jah Radio, the drum n bass station too, nice music in Vice City, San Andreas , JNR Jazz from GTA IV, Red Dead with some nice emotional songs and now the icing on the cake, some cool wine drinking with your girl jazz.
@Palmar3s LA noire was developed by the good folks at Team Bondi (The Getaway, The Getaway: Black Monday), Rockstar lent their tech and open world interface.
People are giving R* too much credit. They should be credited with bring this game to a wider audience, marketing it, and credited with making LA Noire Multi-platform.
Originally to be published by SCEA, LA Noire was going to be a PS3 Exclusive.
Thank you bro. I really didn't know the details, Rockstar logo just fooled me a little bit and didn't focus entirely on the Team Bondi logo, but needless to say, whoever made the music, props to them
sounds like a lot of fun, no joke lol, except i wouldn't smoke because i'm 17 and i don't like smoking lol.. but walking around listening to this? yeah!
@rfp415 it has a way of stealing your soul if you let it. it often times reminds me of the city though, looking out over it from the HH parkway...or the metro north running through harlem.
Rockstar always does such a great job on games, I can't wait for the new Grand theft auto. I know they're taking their time on that just like they did with this game, glad I bought L.A. Noire
The fun thing is that music like this has existed longer than what most people here have even lived, and this is how they discover it - through a video game. I am too, one of these people.
@Androu1 "Know about" and "know" are different things. I've met plenty of people around their 20's that haven't heard a single jazz song before. I admit I don't know much jazz myself, but at least I've heard one or two albums via my grandparents.
Pretty much everything is amazing about this game. bloody love it! cant wait to get home, eat and then play this til the impending rapture.. or til late into the night :L nice way to go i think.. :L
@GameCentreOrg I'm pretty sure this particular song was done by Andrew and David Hale, as there is no singing, that pretty much cancels out Claudia Brucken as a contributor.
@GameCentreOrg Actually it was Andrew Hale who wrote this. He did work on Red Dead Redemption and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Great composer and incredible orchestrator. There's a slight Gil Evans quality to his orchestrating (if a bit heavier), at least to me. IMO he perfectly captured the essence of this game.
