Sediment isn't the main issue, IMO. It's ability to drink some of your Brew TODAY...instead of waiting weeks for bottle conditioning to complete, or force carbonating the whole keg before you want. This tool is on the Wish List of many active Home Brewers. I'm negotiating price on one now.
