i am indian, and all this passing business. it takes judgement, power of vehicle, and co-ordination!!
the trucks usually are at lowest speed, then buses and then the cars which are fastest!! in india the legal highway limit now is 100 kmph! now we have highways which are wider and have seperate lanes!! things are changing but it will take time i guess!! i strongly suggest people from foreign country should not drive in India!! you wont make it without some accident!!
I've been there and among many other things I noticed that in wide roads even with marked lanes they stay on the fast lane and overtake on the inside. Why do you overtake like in US while driving on the left like in UK ? As for the rest, I appreciate indian driving skills and feel some kind of similarity with old time italian driving, but the horn blowing does become annoying over time in busy long journeys. I mean, do in India grasp the concept of "noise pollution"?
LOOSER (MOST PATHETIC) drivers I known in India.. guys who shit in their pants in traffic like this are now in the US with me & considered themselves excellent drivers here & they try to preach me on driving skills... The rulz are made so even scared pussies like them can drive here feeling macho... which is good, but I just don't enjoy driving here.. its almost a burden.
Man... I miss that driving.. I personally think Kerala has the craziest driving.. max. accidents in the country and this is just peanuts in front of it.. But Excellent video.
Survival of the fittest...... hey this is actually not bad driving, there wasn't even an accident, so, great skills and respect for each other!!! Film stuff like this in Australia and you see at least one major crash in the same time frame, plus a lot of Insults (Aussies are totally INTOLERANT when they drive). Aussie's wouldn't know how to drive a wheelbarrow!!! They are just plain stupid behind the wheel because they are teached by IDIOTS!!! I see it nearly every day, I live here.
great video man.....nice cam wrk....it seems kind of scary but actually its fun...

these uncivilized drivers need some disciplining! Four Lanes combined with a divided median would work wonders here.
