optical fiber=high speed internet so if usa change the normal wires with optical fiber they will be in top 10

@selearemus They may have wireless satellite, but that's only there to fill out the spaces where they don't have fibre connections, and those satellite connections go all the way up-to 1.2Gbps apparently.

cool...i just would have hoped that the british wouldnt have fucked us that hard...we got first real high speed internet in 2006 ^^where we used to get 512 kbps max......then came 2007 where we got 2 mbps max :|

then came 2008 where we were getting 16 mbps max...now in 2009 it is expected to get around 20 mbps .....

between i am talking about India ;)

romania was a rich country as well in 20s-30s...but then commies went them down...and then they recovered brilliantly...so did many european countries...and yes ur right at that pont"we are fucked up by our own ppl"...u can see population matters....

thing is...we still maintained a 7% growth rate last financial year ..when most of the economically developed countries was in turmoil...so it isnt that bad :)

think about this fact.. here in Romania we pay $10 for 30 mb/s bandwidth, an about $15 for 50 mb/s bandwidth (*for RDS ISP)
