I think this first one is a style for professionals. When mere mortals use a round brush on long hair, the hair completely wraps around and then tangles in the brush. Trust me, it's a nightmare.

Try massaging your hair when you condition it, giving yourself a head massage increases the blood flow to your scalp which in turn increases the nutrients to you roots.

Question about your tip: Doesn't the massage shorten the time it takes for your roots to get greasy? I thought your roots would go greasy faster by intensively massaging your scalp, but I could be wrong=)Thanks!

The massaging would be done while in the shower so it wouldn't be so bad, but if you get greasy roots fast try bumble and bumble's hair talcum (its more of a dust than a talcum but I can't remember what its called). Another way to avoid greasy roots is to apply your conditioner from the midshaft to the ends of the hair and avoid using any styling products on the roots because it will only worsen matters.
