This is a montage I have been looking forward to. Its time to stop looking at the past and focus on the future olympic champs. This is one video that proves what I am looking for, the elements and the future stars of figure skating.

why are you so grumpy toward her? she is probally one of the most amazing skaters in the WORLD. ya it got kinda annoying that she couldn't skate 2 clean programs in a competitoin but i think its kinda lame of you to go saying that she didn't have the desire and work ethic. some people just arn't good competitors.
You'd think that if you can't land your jumps you would do something about it instead of falling every single time, don't you think? She is a good, not great skater, being able to stick your leg straight up in the air and flashing judges does not make you great. She's a good spinner but horrid jumper who's pathetic inability to land her jumps then blame everyone else but herself is sickening.
yes you do raise a good point. her training methods were defiantly not working. I think in many aspects of skating she was very talented, as you pointed out. she was a very good spinner and very flexible. I did notice how she blamed her flaws on others, such as her coaches. She switched coaches many times only to find that it was no help. but I still believe she was a great and inspiring skater.
I agree she is a great but disappointing skater in that she just can never hold it together, I don't want her to come back, she had her chances a long time ago, I want the new and up and coming skaters like Caroline Zhang and Emily Hughes to come through because they have the drive and desire and they just love to skate, they're not looking to win for money like Sasha. She blames the media for her not skating well instead of herself.
Your right. She was very disappointing and she did have her chance a while ago. I also believe even if she came back for the next Olympics it might be hard for her to qualify. there are so many good up-and-coming skaters in our nation right now that i believe are more consistent and possible better then her; like Caroline zhang. too bad she couldn't hold it together though, she could have been the best.
Sasha has been improving very dramatically in her skating. I think she will compete against the other successfully so I think she will definitely compete again in 2010 Winter olympic. See currently released videos of Sasha for more info, sk8princess21 and haribobo and also twilliger123.
Caroline is the underdog, but she's the most complete skater among this group, and probably the best. It's sad that Sasha is not competing this season, if that's true.

Sasha cannot compete at the 2008 Nationals because she doesn't have a bye and she didn't compete at the regional championships.
