Why must like, EVERY "American' character in a video game suck beyond belief? Especially in fighting ones? It's like the Japanese like sutblely mocking us and most Americans are too stupid to even notice, making it even worse!
And before anyone even TRIES to bring up Ken (who sucks compared to Ryu, anyway), Ken is like 99% Japanese, really. He just HAPPENS to live in Seattle. American is hardly his nationality. (I even read somewhere that he was Ryu's half brother or something.)
@Mcheetah What? No character sucks in a fighting game just the person in control. Also being American isn't reliant on ethnicity which is entirely separate from nationality. Ken and Guile are great characters in the hands of proper players. Go watch some combo videos
@Mcheetah Actually Ken is 50% Japanese his dad is American and his mom is Japanese and plus Daigo one of the greatest champions of Street Fighter uses Guile so neither Ken or Guile suck its just the player

Hmm TerryBogard AndyBogard Guile Ken Bob TinaArmstrong Zack BassArmstrong Rufus Cody Balrog Sol Badguy ChippZanuff Guy Alex T Hawk Charlie Zack none of these characters have ever been terrible in a fighting game and Ken was raised in New York.. and Ryu is an Orphan.. no way in hell he is related to Ken in any way. All American fighters have been portrayed well IMO.

Most of those other guys you mentioned I could care less about. I think they're pretty terrible. And isn't T. Hawk is a Mexican-tribe native American?
