Because he is one of the main roadblocks to the public option being passed in the senate,,,,and he caucuses with the democrats but sides with republicans on every issue. He recieves an obscene amount of money from health insurance lobbyists (like many other congressmen/women) and yet has the nerve to claim that he opposes these bill on principle. He was in favor of the medicare buy in a few months ago, but now he is opposed to it. He was opposed to the filibuster in senate now he is in favor.
