Not that I'm very good at it, but when things go my way my battles tend to drag out like this :3 Waiting game! I think your opponent should have caught on to your pattern in the end, but I always like a good old protect loop gambit!

@pet1996 Stunfisk doesn't evolve from or to anything. It's based off flatfishes like flounders and halibuts.

@thexpertgamer101 Well, the moves Rest, Heal Bell, and Aromatherapy also remove poison, while Facade and Psycho Shift allow you to benefit from it. Poison- and Steel-types and Pokemon with Immunity can't be poisoned, while Guts, Toxic Boost, Quick Feet, Marvel Scale, and Poison Heal allow you to benefit from the poison as well. Magic Guard nullifies poison and Synchronize allows you to share it. Poison can also be stopped with a Lum Berry or Taunt. With poison, prevention is the best medicine.

Either your opponent was expecting Gastrodon to switch out, or she had no idea what moves affected Gastrodon and just got lucky.

Toxic taking away that much damage is a sight to see. I forget...is there a maximum amount of damage that it can remove?

@dembonez19 I'm going with the latter--I'd bet my opponent didn't know Gastrodon was a Ground-type. It's reasonable, as Shellos is pure Water. If my opponent began in HeartGold or SoulSilver (which is likely, considering all the 2nd-generation Pokémon or those evolved from 2nd-generation Pokémon), they may have never encountered Gastrodon until now.

Toxic has no upper limit to how much damage it can inflict. After 16 straight turns of being out, Toxic will sap away all of the HP.

Weivile needs much better moves and the Suckel was EVed well :) My Suckel couldn't have tooken that Muddy Water that good.
